View Full Version : Major Problems with Twister
I receive my Twister Package, the first look was very good, cables, boxes all be OK.
The first was a missing driver, the usbccgp.sys was not on support area.
Then the cable connection was not desripted, box has FPS8/FLS4 Pinout, the a special cable and a gender changer is needed to connct Box to phone, not a nice solution, but is working.
Ericsson is working, but very slow boot process.
Then the most problems with Nokia.
6310 shows only local Mode, no communication.
3200 Phone doesn't turn on, if I hold power button, sometimes shows local mode. ( Fixed, Battery GND are not connected, now only local mode, no communication )
3590 shows only local Mode, no communication.
3595 connetor not fit, if I use an another one, shows only local Mode, no communication.
1100 Flashing works, other be also OK
1100b RH36 no unlock, flashing not try, they are no flashfiles.
3310 Phones turn on without Display, no communication.
If I connect the phones via CPA6 to FPS8 absolut the same, only 1100 are working,
Direct Connect to Griffin, all working
I think is generally cable problem between Griffin and Nokia Pinout.
Any help are welcome

Wow, I just got an e-mail about "Major problems with Twister, refer to this post". Somehow I think Zulea is behind it... everytime a product bashing comes along, it's probably him doing the bashing under somebody else's name.
Zulescu, if you expect an answer, well you will not get it. You know me too good and you should know that i do not answer you. So fell free to talk to yourself. Happy Posting ;)

@Zulea,
Go back to the post where we talk, why did you run away into here?
At least we will identify the problems and fix them unlike divvy 8.4 where you have to close the software between each operation.

Yes Lead, you are right, if you compare to recent mail from Mr Zulea about DivvyUSB it matches even down to IP address, so I presume Raskal sends the emails out for Zulea, NOT!!!

I can not understand his reaction, the only logical explanation for that is that he got today his first sample of twister and he saw that the flashing time of DIV2.3 is 2 x slower that Twisters :)
Or another possibility is that he is afraid to get forget from users, so he is searching for most popular threads and post there some bull**** just to make ppl look at him.
Who konws what is in mind of a sick person.
Maybe we should start using PGP more widely.

I think he is just drunk, this is all.
That all blabla from Zulea, only why I have a small technical problem.
All Phone cables working, when I connect this to a Griffinbox, so I think its only the cable problem between Twister and Griffin-Style Phone cable, I check this, I must search for FPS8 Pinout on my Harddisk.
PC is P4, 2,6 GHz, 512 MB Ram, Win ME, I875 Chipset.
Raskal, I call you tommorow, I think is to late now.

Donīt give ......(i needed to write a lot of words).......................to zulea, believe me , my experience (and my costumers) with him tells us just one thing ..... ignore him and his products! (until now, hope is the last to die :-) )
My last mistake in GSM biz was to buy from him DIV (when i bought i didnīt know he was the author or else i wouldnīt make the mistake) when it was released in the first time, before buy i doubted about protection and support in one major GSM forum, 1 day after i got a mail from him saying that i was everthing but good (if you know what i mean), the schulemberg cards, government protection , no one can crack, the only one that do this, that do that, bla, bla, bla,bla etc....
When i posted the reply to everyone in the forum and to his mail , he answered me that the mail was no longer his for a long time and he didnīt send me the mail :-))))))
... at least if he had give support to the products and didnīt make marketing moves like charging for upgrades (like he did with the Div 6 TO 8 and now with the USB DIV) i and much more people wouldnīt care if it was cracked or not....what can we expect of someone who hides his name from a sw?
understand me ... it is a bit complicated to buy or resell in this conditions
by the way... do you know what DIV stands for????
NO?
i explain you all.... Dumb Investment Voluntary ;-)
Itīs very sad , because Mr Zulea ("Mr" because he have the knowledge and the brains to have the titlle, he just donīt use it in the right way, at least anymore) once upon a time was a correct and honest person that had my trust 100% , whitout him to know i was one of his best clients.
ZULEA! change of atittude(you have a lot to compensate) or else quit the biz... we are not stupid...there are alternatives...the biz isnīt anymore like it was some years ago..... competition, have you heard about?!??! nowadays the honest and the best prevail!
nothing personal,
Angelo Cruz

The Major Problem in TWISTER is that Its SonyEricsson flashing is tooo FAST. ;)
At the begining of this year I decide that is time to upgrade my original DIV 7.1 ( inside it has original schulemberg cards ) and after an quick reserch of the market and one atempt to contact Zulea I made the best choice until now:
UFS-2 / Twister.
I'm sure that others did the same like me - and looked for similar S-E product - and this started to afect Zuleas sell of his new launched and already cracked DIV-USB... sorry for him but his game with email spam will afect his image even more, and will lose more and more cutomers and maybe if he continue this way will have some trouble with law also.
P.S.
good work Saras, Raskal & his team, keep going; S-E is working fine.
when i buy a solution now i ask my suppliers if it is a zulea product so i leave it.not worth the problems if we all did it he will annoy some other business like pram makers something for his iq

PS All phones are OK and running.
It's the UTP8 converter problem, my supplier remind me this problem before I got my Twister so when it arrived, I cut the UTP8 converter and crimped it again.
Better if you have original Prodigy cable UTP10 used it directly to your Twister no more converter.
BR,
LogoMan
yes you are right, most of the time is this f.ucking converter the problem. It is crazy but it is like this. We have to buy cables from china since there is no other way until now how we could do this faster than chinese ppl. but this cable are very very expensive and this cable factorys in china get more rich and rich, but they do not improove the quality since they know that we would buy the cables any way and so they do not care. :(
Bad cables are comon problem with all boxes, not only with twister. Chinese manufacturers are responcible for this, not developers . . .
Yeah, and Twister box where is made?
In Offenbach - Germany???
NO, in China too. He, he, he, .... ;)
But if something happens wrong with your Twister boxes, and no more will work with some/all supported phone models, this boxes have enough LED's to use it in your christmas tree.
Best regards,
Zulea

Yes i know it is hard to see how fast it works in comparation with "USB" Div. I know it was your first try, maybe next time you will do it better. Good Luck.

Zulescu,
if you will care so much about your own products,
its will be fantastic support from your site.
Regarding LED's
That Led's is doing on your DIV ?
Them cannot be used even on Christmass tree...

I disagree with you Legija, sorry. DEVELOPERS are responsible for bad cables because when they go cracking and fighting each other the prices of their products drop and they are forced to cut cost. Chinese manufacturers can make you good or fair or bad cables all depending on the size of your pocket but with the prices of boxes in the market today I wonder what choices the developers have. If they could stop all these fighting I believe the end-users don`t mind paying more for the best cables but for now the game is about prices.
@Raskal
The party is not over yet, miss ya here, come back again soon ;)

Miliky, nice to see you :) :) yes life is party and without party no life !!!! China is cool and you and your girl friend are cool, say her from Daniela and Me our best regards.
About china cables, well, as u know, i know ALL cable manufacturers in china, i even know some of them wich are very big now and before 5 years they just had no more than 10 employees. Well bigges problem is in assembly ppl. This are country side ppl, wich work for less than 100 usd per month and they are pushed by factory manager to make too big quantity in too short time. The QC is most of the time just a sticker nothing more. Quality Check are two big words, but too hard to relize in reality. Yes we teach some of them of effective productions, but even we do this they will use this against us and our market flooding our own market with "cheap" prices, no depend of quantity. As you know, in china they work with even 0.10 usd margin, so this mean first of all the few cable manufacturer fight with prices and the quality become more bad and bad.
I was long time think how to solve this problem, i have an ideea, i will try and i hope it will be ok what i plan to do.

Dear, i saw few USB DIV boxes, maded by you (as i heard they are produced in romania ?) And, NON of those boxes was in fully working condition. Resoldering was needed for UTP conectors on boxes, cables were wrong conected, so you have same problem as other producers too. Only thing what's interesting is that people don't cry on forum, because your USB DIV boxes are sold in small qty.
Anyway, when corectly fixed, USB DIV work ok.-;)
My Twister is working now, thanks to Raskal.
Jan
Also thanks to Saras for the 1100b update
