OH guys I came across this site after searching for a way the fix my problem with my gsm sim card. This place is probably my only and last hope. I have sim card from cingular wireless that had been puk blocked and all 10 tries used which rendered the card to where now i just says card rejected once place in the mobile. My problem is I extreamly need my phonebook out of it. I called my provider and they said that since i tried to unlock it 10 time with the wrong puk code the sim card is fried now. And I had to buy a new sim card for my mobile. I kept my old sim card to see if there was any way to get my numbers out of it.
Well I got a card reader for it and i used a software i found over the net called GSMreader and I was able to unblock the puk code as I had got it from cingular when I called them but it is also has the pin1 blocked which is where im am stuck at. I cant figure out what the pin code is. Anyways my dum but had messed with it so much before comming to this site that I only have 8 tries left for pin2 which i thnk would be my last resort.
Please help me get my phonebook from the sim card. Thats all I need from it. Thanking you in advace. Please reply soon.

I'm sorry, but there is no way to unlock the PUK1 once is blocked.

To access to phonebook, it is necessary to authenticate the PIN1, but in your case, the PIN1 blocked and the PUK1 too, which is necessary to unlock the PIN1.

First of all thank you for your quick response and secondly puk1 is not blocked. I was able to unblock the puk1 code which I got from cingular. but I need the pin1 now. Can pin1 be bypassed or retrieved some how. Can pin1 be changed if I have puk1 code, how and with which software. Or is pin1 something that cingular can provide too? Please reply soon Thanks again.

I just talked with cingular and they were not ableto give me the puk2 code cause I had already got a new sim card so that I can use my mobile. And they said that to get the PUKs code they need to have the card in thier system to check the codes but they cannot reactivate the old card. And I need the puk2 code to change pin1!!! So i guessing I need some way or some software that can bypass pin1 check or disable it some how so that I can read my phonebook of the sim. PLEEEASE I need these numeber...

If you have tried 10 wrong PUK1, your PUK1 is locked forever, even knowing the correct PUK1.

The same occurs with PIN1, if it is locked, the only way to unlock is using the PUK1, even knowing the correct PIN.

Your operator can supply the PUK, but it is useless if it is blocked.

If you are sure that your PUK is not locked, you can use it to unlock the PIN.

Use my configurator to see the status of your PIN's and PUK's and unlock the PIN (if your PUK is not locked). Download from www.simemu.cjb.net

The PIN2 and PUK2 does not allow to unlock the PIN1.
