hi
i got twister on almost 20 days before
but even now im not able to work properly with it
i cant unloock any fone with it except MOTOROLAs
NOKIAs go in local mode [i power on th fone manualy ]
but nothing else !!!
i asked RASKAL for help , he tried to help me gave me maney instruction
but i had tried all that already so no help
i have tyried twiser with 3 different computers but no help
and window 98, win me,win XP but even then no help
i think something is wrong with my box
now if i think to get the replaced box for hardware problem
it will cast me a lot of shipping
im very confused
working with twister is now a dream for me only
but imstill hopeful that i will be able to work with twister
pls give me some sugestion what should i do
im waiting for reply

I had the same problem with Twister
you need pci card for usb2
after that even sefighter is ok
download twister 10
install pci card for usb2
when the pc will see new hardware and ask for the driver
open usb drivers at noki/phoini/usb driver
after that you will connect with the twister

dont u have offecial resselers in u`r countries .. it will be more helpfull than have the extra shiping cost ..

Maybe you have not connected the Nokia Service Cable to the Twister via the Adapter Cable
You have to do so with the Adapter Cable with the Red Arrow in the Twister and the Service Cable on the other Side via the Adapter Box

i dont think so that there is any cable problem [or tell me wich cable do u mean] bcoz motorola can be unlocked and nokia goes into local mode ,
even then if u have some doubts about my cables , give me the schematics of the cable , i will make cable myself and try it

I have another customer who experienced the same problem, but we are
not yet certain on whether it was his motherboard or his CPU that was
causing the problem. Anyway, he had them replaced (both motherboard and
CPU) and now his problems are gone..
So I suggest, try it on another PC with Pentium Inside...

Be sure that u have connected the Phone
and cables like this :

We will check the Twister after return, if the box had a fault from factory, we will of course return the shipping costs to you. If the box is not faulty we will not return the shipping cost.

The box is ok
Just cut the UTP8 Connector from the SERVICE CABLE that goes from twister to the adapter and put a brand new UTP8 connector.After that open the adapter and put some glue under the plastic where the 8 pins are,and make sure glue is strong,so the plastic wont move when u plug a service cable into the adapter.After that all is working 100% ok. It sound complicated but it is 2 minutes job.

I think best is to wait, we wait for the faulty box and we will see what happens.

If you get this error you the problem is 99.9% becasue bad cables. Please download from support area the cable schematics and verifie the cable wich do not work with your mobile.

Well, tomas said he sent you active box, now you say box is not active, and this can not be. Do you mean activation or do you mean box upgrade?
I mean just read some posts back. DrMobile also tested the box by himself before sending to you and box work fine. So tell me, how could be that box is not active but for tests work? Can not be! Your box is active.
Best of all you post here a screenshot and we will see what you mean.

For me the solutions was very simple but I it was the last thing that I have thought it could cause its:
Connect twister directly to mainboard's usb ....I used 2 cables to connect my twister to usb cause of distance between computer and desk....So check it out (I had the same problems on prodigy )
Now twister works perfectly!

Listen to AmunRe, this is good advise, also never use hub unless you are running out of the back/front of another Twister box.

I have tried another cable,manual made cable all but that problem is still appearing.Adaptor too.i did all....what next? Im just courious what makes this stupid problem. Se works perfect,Motorola also,samsung also. Nokia unlock work perfect,but flashing not. Interesting....

twister flasher is very good just be familiar with it there is no difference in twister, ufs-2, and tornado software at present all are same except the hardware used in them the twister people have used good material and in future twister will support card phone flashers of nokia as they have supplied cfa-6 which ufs-2 and tornado cannot do
the problem which you are facing for 3510i can be due this reasons
1] check wether you have attached service cable and then the 3510i cable
2] try reversing the service cable extension jack
3]the phone flash ic is damaged

I tested the box u sent back personally. Working Normal no problem at all.
For the New Box I resent u also tested by myself working 100% all functions actived.
Why we sent to DrMobile? because we want to make sure it is working 100% and u get the 100% working box. He is in same country as u.
Is it our mistake?? We pay for the DHL to send back the box!! Even it is not our fault (The return Box working 100%).
U also need to know that the box need to be update firmware if need to using new version. Pls chk: http://forum.gsmhosting.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=128689

I am one of those that maybe feel like Yashaka
I received a box 3 days ago and till now I can get it working. The original installer didn't work and yesterday I got password for support page , downloaded the latest installer but who is going to give me Fbi , I can't get anything from my dealer always wait wait and also no activation code.
I thing this was a bad decision
If someone can help me now

I'm having a problem with v1.15.
I tried to unlock a Nokia 3595 but Twister detect it as a CARDPHONE D211.
I selected 3595 manually but the phone cannot be unlocked by TWISTER.

Let's not put the blame on Twister Team this delayed response to this update file we send to our respective reseller, for me I waited 4 working days before it arrived and I understand the situation, both Twister Team and our Reseller are busy checking their mails.

i got my equipment last thursday, from a very good supplier, he sent my update file while i was there.....i watched him do it...sent on 11/03/2004 he recieved it back on the 18/3/2004. thats 1 week.
once bloody keys have been enterd (4 of them) and update sorted..." s/n not valid"
is displayed.
so now we need another box? another week?
looked for the support forum.......fu.ck a.l.l.
like i said, its had its chance.....

Your box is faulty, maybe you have the right to asks for replacement from your good reseller:)

the difference is that with UFS u will have better support and noone will call u analphabet if u have any problems with your box.

I think there is not any product in the market which is PERFECT.
Every product have its own features and benefits.
I think I have almost ALL devices in the market.
I normaly use TWISTER for DCT3 eeprom flashing or when my both PC and both griffins are busy for flashing I use TWISTER to flash third phone. as We can use GRIFFIN and TWISTER on same PC..
Spceially I realy like Its SONYERICSSON software..
P800/P900 PDA flashing.. and its very fast.

Griffin does not offer any free RPL files!
Prodigy does not offer any free RPL files!
Matrix does not offer any free RPL files!

Most of the flasher on the market support to read ASK file and write RPL file, but NONE OF THE FLASHER WILL COME WITH FREE RPL !!!

I dont understand you, where is you problem with RPL files. What you wont and why ?
This free RPL files are only valid if you change UEM and you will have IMEI that are in this files. If you want calculated RPL files from ASK then you must pay for this, it is simple. Tornado, griffin, twister, prodigy etc all dont make free calculation of ASK files and you are here attacking Twister. We all pay for this files and why you think that you are the only one that must have it for free.
My opinion is that you make mess here from nothing.

Just drop me email i will send you rpl files, but as i expleined before you must change UEM and you will have IMEI from rpl files ( it can hepen that some of IMEI are blacklisted )
