dear all,
I confirm : Logger n Decrypter works perfect.
Schematic is also partially perfect. Let me describe the way i unlocked.

Use a std. c55 data cable.
Short pin 3 & 5 AND 4 & 7 (as per schematic in zip file).
Now to apply external supply a minor difference from shematic.
Use a 10K resistor, connect it to pin9.
Connect 12v positive to this resistor.
Connect 12v Negative to GND pin of cable. ( a black wire normally connected already to it - pin2)

Start logger. Here comes the trick. Try the way, we do in sam flashing.
Little gamble here also. Phone may turn ON - try to off it. Try again. Dont loose your nerves. You gonna have success soon.

After all these decrypt the log. Enter the desired code. Check it with *#0606#.

Try n post your results and your IDEAS.

Thanks for your reply. I want to add that I could run this prog before on win98, but I had to format my hdd. Now it is impossible to run log decrypter. I think it's a problem of dll or ocx files missing. I can't install any other windows system than win98. Maybe someone else knows somthing more.

i used my old max232 interface ..
connected all pins like on included picture
not 4+7 and other bulls_hit ...
and i also connected voltage
but any from 5 to 12 V works

it reads log and at the end says failed
but log decrypter decrypt codes ok
and all worked ... for now.

hI, ANYBODY hAVE UNLOCK SOLUTION, FREE, FOR C62 V.11, AND A60 V.10. because with zulea solution c62 doesn't make the log file, because when it's ask to turn on the phone, the phone makes really on, and tha soft doesn't start. To A60 with freia 9 tha boot file says bootfile not acepted. THanks

check attached picture with c62 sw ...
take one charger for c55
and re-make it to c62 cable ...
use +5 to +12 volts at described pin
start logger and press power on
it must work
it worked for me at first try...

for a60 all versions ...
find freia9 and testpoint cutting pictures
open phone, cut the track
and unlock easily with freia9

I made the interface as the schematics, but it doesn´t work. I replaced the 10 uF capacitors with .1 uF 50v, as shown on max232 datasheet, and like others cables I made that worked. The rest is exactly as the schematic.
I fed with 12v from external power suply, with and without the resistor. Does anyone has any tip/hint?

i found out that was my mistake. one of the capacitors were inverted. I fixed it, and gone loggin´. Log reader says:

Boot...

and then it stopped responding (Windows XP). The handset doesn´t work animore!! It´s dead!! How the f*** could it get fixed, if there´s a way?

there is big confuson about this cable...i am sure others have had good experience with this schematic....but i have had no success....:(

btw, there is excellent documentation for Max232 (TTL-CMOS/RS232 converter) on www.maxim-ic.com and thats the heart of the whole exercise...in that only the values of capacitors are different but they are for blocking/bypassing any ac component in the circuit...so a value of 1 micro or 10 micro doesnt matter really...still its not working...

any spark of genius anyone has ...most welcom !!!!

Trick is - u plug in the cable after giving command in logger. IF phone turns on, off it. Do not remove cable, just press power ON button. If this doesnt work - do a reverse procedure.

ANd to run log decrypter comfortably on your PC, i suggest to use a clean win98 installation. Any antivirus software or debugger FREE environment is preferred.

Try with Windows 98, for me logger also won't work under Windows XP (MAX232 interface)

Thnx ppl, but I managed to unlock another phone with this solution. It´s already working. But my real problem now is: Dead c62 while unlocking. I discovered that the power suply I was using wasn´t stable. I guess it was the problem. The headset doesn´t turn on anymore, or give any sign of beeing alive. But it charges the battery, although it does not appear on display. Is there any way to re-live the phone? Any attempt is valid, as the device is already dead... :(

The solution that now works, is to feed the cable with a 9v battery. More safe, and u won´t kill the phone, like I did.

I said that I made it work! Don´t need no datasheet, I already have it. I don´t have any problem with max232. My problem is: THE 1ST C62 I TRIED TO UNLOCK IS DEAD! It means it does not turn on anymore. It lost its soul. It´s gonna to a better place. That is my problem. Did anyone who killed a headset like this, could make it work again?

Any version of C62 for today can be unlocked by Griffin's C62 unlocker - just read code and enter it manually. BTW last month I got 17 pcs of C62 with dead SP zone - killed by some "sunday" unlockers during 150 pcs unlocking. It cannot be recovered with solution using new microcell flasher and repair GDFS file. Revived all, but no free solutions exists.

ask somebody who have siemens service site acces
to get you a downgrade patch for flash programmer
after that... read the manual...

This comes most of time after using a wrong cable.The Logger didnt finish or didnt create the log correctly.Try to use an original cable or make a good cable .

to get back your phone alive, simply reflash it back to v26
and it will be alive again ... so you can unlock it
with hammer if you want... i dont care.
and one more thing ... i dont like your attitude at all
