You to desolder CPU(motorolla hc05) and read it! If it is read protect, to reset it and write a dump.

use motor 11 for 68hc11 and rs 232 interface.

-connect hc11 pin 1 to PC GND
-connect hc11 pin 2 to hc11 pin 1
-connect hc11 pin 17 to max pin 12 & max pin 13 to PC com-rts
-connect hc11 pin 20 to max pin 9 & max pin 8 to PC com-txd
-connect hc11 pin 21 to max pin 10 & max pin 7 to PC com-rxd
-connect +12V to radio (radio is off)
-use MC68HC11.exe (motor11.exe)
-comunication must be active now!

I made a mistake , it is hc11 , at the moment i wrote the message i didn`t remember . I don`t make radios every day.

These days GSM is easy business, you only need to insert a cable and click on unlock button.Car Radio, Dashboards,Xbox, even GSM 5 years ago need a little more .Now everything is b.....sheet!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hello, i've the same problem with my radio car, it is a grundig SC303 locked on safe mode since my battery got empty.
I called grundig and they told me to send them my radio serial number with 30€ and the could find my code.

If they can do that from serial code, i'm very surprised that a code generator or something else is not available on the web...

PS : We're not all expert in electronic, but if we could save 30€... :rolleyes:

i think that code is not generated but stored in a data base file so if changed after the first use so code won't go. i think
i have a grunding radio in safe mode and can't enter code
it's a friend that put 6 times the bad code but in sheet with radio it's written that after the sixth try have to wait 6 hours to be able to enter code
we wait 6 adys an no thing
any advice to reset counter or to force entring cod
