View Full Version : dump files for LG G5300
Hi all.
I have a LG G5300 and have been looking around to solve a problem I have with my phone having incoming call restrictions activated.
I have tried flashing the phone thinking that it may get rid of this problem but still no luck. I have been talking to Titan and he advised me to do 2945#*# and then restore factory defaults but it still didn’t work.
I have stumbled across some files which are
DumpG5300P16_V208_1.bif
DumpG5300P16_V208_2.bif
And am not quite sure what they do.
Can anybody inform me on what these files do and how to load them onto the phone?
Thanks
Slick1
Pls reflash with another version!!!!

the phone is a P16. the problem is that it keeps on saying incoming call restrictions activated when i try and make or recieve a call on the phone. i have tried to deactivate incoming call restrictions and it asks me for a network password. when i enter the network password, it says that the request failed.
i know it flashed o.k because when i go to 2945#*# it tells me the version what i upgraded it to. would it matter if i have a G5300 and flashed it to a G5300i?
thanks again.

the flash sounds to be ok, but when it ask for password and failed, could be that the password may have changed in the flash, normaly I use the password all the 0 and I only have every had one problem were it wont let me ring out and it took the password fine. is they any way to change the password to default, or try to find some other p16 flash files has sound like the password is set in the flash, but allways back up old flash files 1st but i garther you know what your doing has you done it before, if it was mine i would try an other flash file, I only got the p40 but that would not be any good to you, they should be some kind person in this forum who might have an other flash file, best of luck m8 if i find an way for you i will let you know m8

thanks again spawn killer.
i just called vodafone and they gave me a code #330*0000#. this is meant to remove all barring. i will try this, and if it doensnt' work i would say that the phone has been imei blocked. i rang up telstra (Another Australian phone network) and they told me that these phones are NOT network locked.
if it is IMEI locked, is there any way of changing the IMEI on the G5300 phone??
thanks

if barred, the IMEI can be change if you find the right software to do it but we are not allowed to do this in the UK so if you do find the software and change it keep quite unless your country allows you then your ok, but I know the nokia's are easy to change but I have not change any of the 5300 phones not got the software
