hi!
i am using the Acer BT500 with hacked 1.4.3.4 drivers from ibm, and everything is working fine.
there is just one annoying thing: everytime i press "Caps Lock" or "Scroll Lock", a small window in the lower right corner of my desktop informs me about the status of the pressed key. first i thought that my pc was infected with some kind of spyware or virus. but them i found out, that this window is caused by "BTTray.exe", a part of the widcomm software.
you can easily disable the keyboard indicators by creating a .reg file with the following content, and double click on it.
---- snip ----
REGEDIT4
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Widcomm\BTConfig\Gener al]
"KeyIndication"=dword:00000000
---- snip ----
hope this helps
