One idea for fix v200, s300 e.t.c. after LG charger

You need to find short circiuted capasitor around AGERE CSP10..... or AGERE PSC20......
Normal resistance is about 1kOm, shorted will give about 3-15 Ohm.
Then, you need to put in this point 3,5 - 5 v and about 2-3 Amp current from strong power supply. In good case short circiut will go away and you phone will alive again. But maybe after it phone will consumt more power, it's not good, but phone will alive, and it's very good. Please try somebody and post results.

Here is the photo of S300. Shortings in my case was here, but before burning you need to sure what in you case same tracks shorted. I use PC Power supply +5 directly, with long wires it not work, only hot PCB.

Hardware. Which resistance between GND and capasitor in you case? May be it around 10-50 Ohm? If yes, you "burn" shorting not complete.


I wrote what after "buirning" phone 50% will consump more power.
But it's phone works and i think it solution is better way to alive phone without some expensive test device, like have Elco.

3. Not all can change it due to glue and matrix.
4. Alive phone is better then dead phone.

i do next
1- rehot main pcb and clean it good
2- with optiflash i flashed the phone with full flash
3- use eep rest code this code * 2 7 6 7 * 2 8 7 8 #

and phone working 1000% after that without any problem

i hope this can help every one here it's working ok with me

Thanks a lot alex1234, i tried ur solution on P400 and it work fine. i also done the following steps:
1- rehot the Pcb
2-Flashing the phone
3-Resetting eeprom
Everything was OK and i haven't a stand-by problem

So if somebody have phone in his pocket what will heppend if phone strat burning?

Or main and end of your point is to get money from you custimer and after then what will be, you don't care?
I know it is processr make higher temp. and some time it will start burning, not this day when you "fixed" him, maybe for week or two...
So my advice is to stop S*H*I*T* about how you will fix this thing becouse you will not!
And for all other, processor is very hard to change (becouse is under the glue), but when you have success in desolder and make exchange whit new one, phone will not start working becouse need to be programed whit other elements in phone by jtag interface!
So only solution for phone which is burned whit lg charger is trash....
Or like my frend legija say big F*UC*K*I*N*G* hamer!

Similar pb on c100 after a bad charger was a short circuit betwen gnd and charger input I try with 5V from pc short was gone but on ic is aprox. 160 ohms betwen in and out so phone say even when power off charging (but only if was powered before-if bat. removed and put back stay off).Now is on charge,try to see if when charge complete stops charging.anybody know where I can find this IC? is LTC 4054-4.2 or Ltady?

2. tell him it is dead phone and he must buy new one becouse you can't give him any grantie for this" fix", and after this fixing phone can start burning becouse processor is bad!some time before your "fixing" phone can start burning if battery have inaff power to continue heating processor!

It mean what power line(one end of capasitor) shorted to ground(resistance ~1-5 Ohm. Fround is "-" of phone mainboard). Understand?

No, SHORT is not SMALL, it mean capasitor, what shorted to ground.

Yeah, you are right. But... in all cases what i see resistance was 1-5 ohm. If you put voltage with small amperage or for very small time it maybe what resistance will ~100 ohm, it's not good, phone will work, but consumpt many, many power and will hot with charger.

Today i make one S200 alive, but resistance 150 ohm:(

Whatever the problem is with v200 but it didnt worked out for me so i dont trust it.
My bro connected Lg Charger to the phone and it went dead withing 10sec and also the phone went hot.
Later he connected the original samsung charger, and than again the phone got heated up. After that when i connected the charger nothing happened.
When i opened the phone, and after a lot of moving here and there stuffs i found the cpu to be short, but dont have any spare of it to replace.
Never though a mere charger could be such a panic.

S100 are different from V200&S300:((( I think need to change CPU or Power IC.

Intermittently shows sim card error,and sim crashes.Sometimes I can
use the phone for 1 day,sometimes for 3-4 days.It's only 5
weeks old(no warranty) ,it was working fine for 2 weeks then started playing up.I want to use it for 900mhz Vodafone.Card ok with SE and Nokia models.

Intermittently shows sim card error,and sim crashes.Sometimes I can
use the phone for 1 day,sometimes for 3-4 days.It's only 5
weeks old(no warranty) ,it was working fine for 2 weeks then started playing up.I want to use it for 900mhz Vodafone.Card ok with SE and Nokia models.

Here is the photo of S300. Shortings in my case was here, but before burning you need to sure what in you case same tracks shorted. I use PC Power supply +5 directly, with long wires it not work, only hot PCB.

hi all guys my mobile is now alive. the solution i use is( i just clean with ctc (chemical)the surface of lcd connecting strip on boad. and then press power on. set is switchd on. i use this solution for lg data cable. now im happy.

for my s300 i short circuited the 2 components shown on the alex pictures to the (+) of the battrie but it don't work.
witch capacitors or resistances on S300 have we to short circuit to (+) for make the fone alive?

I was able to use this solution to bring back alive my V200 .But there is another problem with the phone.
When it boots up the booting sound is not finished and the keys will not respond .....and there is a continuse static hissing sound from the speaker.......( the displays are ok and network is fine from the look of things on the screen)
Please what do I do to solve this problem ??????
