I tried Jon Scaife's Bluetooth Guide (http://www.jonscaife.com) but only with partial success.
I'm using a 'BlueShark' USB BT adapter (specs: http://www.ilk21.com/eng/product_eng/BlueShark_eng.htm) on my laptop (Gericom with Win XP pro) and a Axcell BTH6023 headset. Following the instructions I managed to establish a connection with the headset. It seems the headset-audio-gateway is set up properly. If I go on 'connect' the headset rings, I can answer but then no sound is transmitted. I only hear a crackling noise sometimes. The microphone doesn't work either. I have checked the Windows sound settings. Bluetooth is correctly registered there as playback and recording device. Could it be a problem with the firmware of the 'BlueShark'? Or dis the Widecomm software not working with my hardware? Any other ideas?
I would appreciate any hint. Thanks in advance!
