Friends I have one E715 with keypad failure....the phone get in fall into the water and after customer dry it keypad not working.....I can power on the phone but can't power off and any other key can't work....

Any solution....

I solved this problem in C100. Find on keypad side three protective varistors and remove them.

I changed one which is marked in attach and my keypad is working but not every key 2,5,8,0 still not working.....any solution......

Remove side keys and try then...I had that problem with e700.

Yes I remove all 3 and still nothing... :( keys 2,5,8,0....not working all other keys work .....

check the socket of the keypad add some soldering paste to it n resoldering the 2 rows of pins if this does not help surely cpu prblm.

It's the processor . If all the keys don't work then it is one or more varistors .

for me i have tried all SOLUTION but the keypad does not work at ALL !!! when on the mobile the mobile does not switch off !! it just stays like that !! can someone give solutions to this PROBLEM... what are the variators to removed ! I have try the above soution but still the same!!

If key pad of E700, E715, E720 are not working just replace MIC. its many time tested solution.
