I know that there is the version V07 of the software which is
available on the Siemens website. So you just have to download it.
I cannot confirm that it'll work (I receive mine with version 07 preloaded).

I think you'll find it on www.my-siemens.com then Mobiles then SX1 :)

Try and hold * and # down while booting.

Press * and # and then turn it on.. all 3 things together

The phone will then format it self and you should be able to boot again...

Should anyone have an address for cheap batteries for SX1, then let me know. The cheapest I found is 50 EUR. (still quite expensive for a (although 1000 mAh) one-day battery!). Thank you.

But I repeat it is dead not accepting codes like(*+#+power).
All this doesn't work it is a dead set the only thing can help is a complete

No, SX1 have Serial communication too. "Martech Box I" work normal, but u must use "testpoint" (connect testpoint to GND).

When I flashing CoreFlash my SX1 death and I reading too much forums and i have solution :-)
My SX1 working good now with my language (czech) :-))))

I use normal serial cable for siemens x55 and Original USB Cable. U must use EGold V3.05 because this have detection how u are connectetd to PC (USB or COM). EGold V3.02 have too but not work correct. Because death phone not comunicate over USB u must use serial cable for upload CORE flash (in SWUP must check only CORE!) and when SX1 switch to USB mode, use USB cable for flash Omap flash file. Not use "Testpoint" solution.

Its for vodafone. Its no problem because u must check only CORE flash for repairing phone. Connect death phone to serial cable and press red button.
When core is uploaded phone is live and u use USB cable for flash another version of swup. (for USB mode u must press center + red button)
