mmcmedic can't solve the problem for locked MMC, but there is exist the progam/software to unlock MMC, but sorry I don't have it.for know you can try format using 9210i

hello to all mates i had one nokia 3650 its mmc card is locked my fren give me one sis file and says to me to install in ur mobile and then c:/ u can read it code well me not try yet about this solution cos me using inferred wich not work for me to detect phone continouslly to send this file just for a seconds detect and then again desconect ..........

Use this app to see ur MMC lock password. This app must install into your phone. I already tested in N6600 and work.
To see MMC lock password run app mmcpwd in phone, in option choose restore - if mmc protected by lock password - u will see the password , and if mmc not protected by lock password the result will show msg "Failed".
Then use that password to unlock mmc. To do it - run app Memory , choose option - choose unlock mmc - and enter that password - and mmc will be unlock.

MMCPWD only run in Symbian OS v7 or v7s (Platform II) with User Interface S60 - such as N6600 , N7610 etc.
And NGAGE QD used Symbian OS v6 (Platform I).

What version WINRAR u used ?
I use WINRAR v3.4 to pack the file, try use WINRAR v3 or above.

MMC pwd is not exactly the unlocking software. It shows the contents of mmcstore file. i.e. you need to sun the software on the phone in which the card is locked. It cant get you the password of a mmc locked in a different phone.
still its a good tool. :)

As you know, still no formatter has been developed, as it required the volume to be formatted and i think the password locks the master boot record, so the card doesnt respond at all. But the best working solution is Nokia 9210i, Handspring Treo 666, Digital camers and similar devices with formatting capabilities. You can not retreive the password from a phone in which you havnt lovked the mmc. There is absolutely no soultion to format a locked mmc in Nokia 6600, 7610, 6630....... or similar phones.

i test to use mmcpassword but not function if the phone is formatted
if the phone is still in orig setting just use seleQ then try to find C:/mmcstore
then if you find it send to your pc and change to .txt file you can see the password

1- Open MMC Card From Card Reader
2- Open System Folder (Hidden)
3- Open App Folder
4- Now In This Folder Copy & Paste Installed Software or Game Folder
5- Close All Windows and Insert Card in Phone And Enjoy Applications.

Method Two
1- Copy and Paste and *.sis FIle in Other Folder
2- Open File Manager and Open That *.Sis File
3- Now Install Applications
4- NOw Enjoy

u can't Unlock MMC with Smart Clip...
u can Unlock MMC with JAF with JAF's Special Cable.
but when u unlock MMC with JAF u will lost ur all data on MMC.
theres also some more Clips which can unlock safely MMC without losing any data:)

I'm using N-gage QD & currently I cant find e right program to unlock my MMC, cos i forgot my password.

I just want to unlock e password in e MMC & not to erase the whole data.

I tried to unlock one with 9210i, but when I insert not locked MMC in it, my menus for format and others with it are not activ so I can`t make the format.......any ideas?!?

There is no need to WASTE MONEY on SOFTWARES and CLICPS to UNLOCK MMC CARDS. Follow the steps below and unlock it with EASE and with your DATA not erased.

1. Insert the MMC card into the phone.
2. Using FExplorer or Seleq, access the C drive.
3.Access system folder.
4. You will now see mmcstore
5. RENAME IT AS mmcstore.txt
6. Open this TEXT FILE and you PASSWORD IS THERE.
7. RENAME mmcstore.txt BACK to mmcstore.
8.NOW COME BACK TO THE MMC AND USE THIS PSWD TO ACCESS IT.

WITH THIS YOUR DATA IS INTACT.:D

Actually I have a "very complicated" software and MMC reader very expensive(about 2 dollars) who can unlock any MMC via parallel port of PC,tested 1000%, so don't argue,this soft exist and I'm working to make him standalone......

it's not too best solution, sometime it's not working
