Can anybody tell me how to make a back-up for CONTACTS in N-6600? Is it possible to have it on MMC?
It's a back-breaking job to retype all those names and phone numbers once they're gone.
Thank you so much.

try backup your phone to mmc: Extra - Memory - Backup phone mem.
Or use a appz name "Contacts Manager for Series 60". If u like i'll send you.

Hi Guys,

either you can use Nokia 6600 PC Suite to backup your contact or Sync with your Microsoft outlook...anyhow, if you choice to use PC Suite.. it will take quite long time to do the backup...by the way, PC suite still the best which can ensure is 100% backup done

I have now a file on my MMC called 'back up.arc' .
What should I do with it after my handphone's been re-set?
Can I just copy it back to phone memory?

Once I installed PC Suite but the program crashed with my bluetooth program so I decided to uninstall it.

Thanks very much, both of you.

just reset your phone then reinstall the app which export your .arc file. After that just import that file into your phone.
Don't clear your MMC or U'll lose that file. I advise you to backup that file to your PC.
