hi friends ,
Yes , i'll go Crazy Really , i made alot of working programmer which working 100% and i didn't success in programming 12c50X pic's ..
so i'll ask u for help again ,
i Made JDM programmer and tried with IC-prog new version ,
programmer worked 100% with PIC 16F84 and with 24XX eeprom's ... but with 12cXX :(
i chaned the delay as ic-prog site says .. without success !!
plz tell me any Other programmer which v.v.v.v.easy plz and don't tell me PICALL AND PICPRO CUZ scheme is hard to make by hand ... cuz i can't do it PCB now ,
i hope to find working 100% scheme & Easy in somwhere ,
help me plzz ,

Hi,Meshoz. Did you hear about "ProPIC" programer? www.propic2.com (http://www.propic2.com)
Try this. I use them from tree years and it's perfect for PIC's, but... not so good for 24xx. But you can try.

BUT.... only can read 12c5xx
When I tryed to write - failed !! :((
It's writed only some bites
I dont know what's up???

YEs , i think i can read using it ... cuz i got another 12c50X from long time and i readed it 100% ..so same problem here !!!

I use JDM programmer with Ic-prog every day and no problem with 12c5xx programming.
Can You write programming parameters, maybe I can help to solve You problem.

Hi the problem isn't only witn 12c50x, I've tryed 24c502 and the same result "failed in 0000h" only can read :confused:
But can write only zeros without problem in 24c502 :) :)
I don't know what is wrong maybe some options ???

hi!
i have 4 programmers i built myself.
1.pony
2.simplified 24cxx programmer
3.jdm
4.pic16pro
pony is working great for 24cxx, i have problem with spi (i can read but not write). i make again with diff scheme...
simplified 24cxx-no problems! this is my favorite!!!
jdm - still not work for me :(
pic16pro - great for 16C/F84!! but i still cant read/write 12C508/09 :( WHY?

i use JDM and i prog 12C50x with no probs. i use IC prog and my config is:
I/O Delay : 4
Interface : JDM Programmer (of course)
Direct IO

Sorry I mean these 12c50x signals:
1 - Vdd --+ 1
2 - Visible Out
3 - Burst in
4 - Vsync in
6 - Lower Cut
5 - Upper Cut

i have the same problem with
ic-prog.
be sure do not overwrite the last sync.
