have alcatel 331 and 511 both have same problem. they charge alarm comes on but cannot power the phone on. what must be replaced?

I don`t know if it will work or not but make backup of Your phone , save teh zone, write fullflash from a good working phone , restore teh zone and see.Regards JOE.

Look around the net there's some free soft like alcatel service s2gsm, BFx tools by henrich ver1.80,wray, bekos brothers...

it's not a software prob ,it's a hardware one.first open the phone and clean the keyboard and try to power on with a metalic object,if nothing happen look (Conductivity) if there's no broken track around the power on button.

got the phone on after cleaning.know the keypad does not work alcatel 511
I Also Have One 311 With This Prob Charghing But No Power On And Yts Not From The Power Button.
After I Have Read Full Flash The Phone Did Not Powered But It S Charghing.

You must measure at least 2.8v on your power button when the phone is off.When you short this button the voltage must drop to 0v and the phone must power up.I think you have open-circuit on your button or voltage problem.
in my case4 the client told me that the phone was reseting by itself so i write back original 2 mb flash and reflow power ic and the 311 is ok now but i will also have to resolder cpu becose it is working ok but somwetimes is resetting .
