try by soft. update or master clean. If not I suspect from gcap2000 (pwr ic)

Hi mate! Here's what I've done so far:
I have 2 of those V70 motorolas. First - network problem, second "invalid battery" problem.Same battery goes good on the other, so no battery problem envolved. I took both U3000 ICs off and switched 1 with the other and soldered them back on the boards. Exactly the same problem. First no network (it's ok) and second still showing "Invalid battery" on the screen. So it's sure we're not dealing with U3000 IC problem. There must be something else going wrong there. I switched the 2 little ICs from the RF block, too with no change...So I took the other phone, wrote battery settings from the one that charged battery good, and after the second power on sequence it charged for a while and then went into "invalid battery" again. Anybody's help and knowledge appreciated.
Respects 2 u all!

After whole night spent switching ICs, finally I switched CPUs, and after that, same story, only that, after the boards cooled down a bit, I got a functional phone, and the other eventually died (although after CPU changing, it used to switch on 4 a while). So it can be that CPU is causing that problem, but now, I'm not sure about anything anymore. :)
