808 functions

i recently bought i 808 from ebay it is ulocked and can work on a 2g sim no problem but when i try to use the following functions

camera
video
voice recorder
phone just shuts down not sure if it is faulty phone ot a problem with it being on 2g network anyone have any ideas :confused:
