Thanks a lot. I have never worked with one of these phones, but I am going to my sister's house today to unlock the G50 she just got...

Please forgive these dumb questions:

1. I enter these codes at the "Insert SIM" screen when you first turn the phone on, right?
2. How can I view the current lock status of the phone? (Before I enter any codes into it)
3. How do I view the current firmware version?

2. you can test the phone with other simcards, when they work, it is unlocked
3. give *#0000# in the phone, then you see what version you have
