The UEM is the power supply ic and has an OTP(one time programming) area that can only be written to once thats why you have to replace the UEM with a blank one and the RPL file is what your griffin will write to the UEM and flash ic

1 year a go i make ask a nokia and them response me with rpl
now its brokenn the bisnes.
i ask may nokia work with another imei because i think not
example :i have a 6510 tha i change uem will i erase anyone rpl for 6510?
i thing not may that i have wrong idea?

i think if you upload RPL to 10 phones with same rpl you got 10 phones with same imei too.
if you want to calculate imei you have to make ask file and sent to anyone who can callculate and it's not free.
