Hmm...well..anyone got it working? Can i use only one of the ssw-files or do i really need the local-file(*Countryname)...and i cant fint the map-file either..where is it?

It would be great if the one who gets it to work can confirm the unlock. A better howto-doc would be good also

i think that i need localized version of this fw, the software don't work, if i select usb and click connect, it reselect automatically rs232and say me switch on the phone,why??(driver usb is installed!!!!!!!!)

At the first for upgrade lg u8110 you need 2 cables
1 usb cable and 1 special serial cable.
You need serial cable to put phone in flash mode and usb to flash it.

With this file you can upgrade phone but not unlock!!!
This isn't a gd55 :-D that you can unlock with flash.

Someone of you, knows the code that us it wants in order to enter in the Net work of the LG u8110?
Example for model LG B1200 the tails is: 1945#*5101#, for model LG the 7010 tails are: 2945#*70001 #. Therefore for the LG U8110 the tails are:????#*?????#. Anticipated thanks

the code is 2945#*88110#

than you must enter a 8 number code

Some people suppose that this code begin whit 222 and is composed whit an operator code ...

For italian companies this code is 88 for wind, 10 for Vodafone and 01 for tim

example:
22288***
22210***

I don't know the H3G operator code.

I'm not sure that the code begin with 222 and have an operator code ...

If the code is this we must find only the last 3 number ... but I repeat ... I'm not sure

Now we must only try !

Italian guy, the MCC / MNC code for H3G is 222-99
But, sincerly, I'm not quite confident that the unlock code is so done... we have to hope in the future for a good algorithm :)

€40 Blimey thats not very gay either! Anyway go the vodafone website that info will be on there, if not phone them and usually they send a text which when opened will put the settings in.

Bad news... the vodafone network in Ireland has no wap settings for lg 81xx..i called them but...

The point is that this phone has only Bettoven ringtones and i am not a fan really....

Any solutions???
