NEC e313 i need an unlocking code please help!

hi people im new to this site and i was wondering if any one had a code for the NEC E313 on network 3 and i want to go over to o2, one of my mates told me if i push 0 eight times the phone will unlock and it did but i couldt make any phone calls or send any texts or do anything with it. can some one please help me

I've tried that.. but I can't find a definite solution that allows you to unlock it to 02 and make full use of all the features (messages and contacts) :S
