You have to digit 2945*#88110#,then OK 2 times,and digit a 8 number code(unfortunatly I don't know),and again OK.
There is no limit of try,so you can try many,many times.

If both of us have used our money to buy a piece of equipment, we can help each other on how to use that piece of equipment optimally - thats sharing knowledge.
But if you want to use my piece of equipment, for free and you make money out of it, thats plain stupidity on my part.
I think there is a lot of sharing on this forum.
If you want free stuff, then you can as well be the last to know, you need to sow money to reap mo money.

Dunno about the rest of you here, but I have a shop, and spend only a few hundred pounds every other month on new equpment. I am only small fry compared to most here, but with the equipment I have, and learning how to use it (from info given here, and other forums) I live very well from the proceeds. Lately a lot of money has been made by repairing phones that the "£2" unlockers (and the like) have knackered up using free, and cracked software. There would be no software at all if the programmers moved onto something else more profitable. They have to sell there software to the likes of us to make it worth their while.. As for get a proper job..Yeah right. I used to have one of them.
I would call myself self-employed, proud, and earning a decent living...O that reminds me. I'm off to Swannage at the weekend. Can I borrow your car?

I have the LG calculator, it does 13 different types of LG phones. What i dont have is the starting code to get me into the network.

yes i have the right code now 2945#*88110#. BUT my LG calc dosnt generate the right code for the 8110! I have sent codes to a few other members and they had no luck. so its pointless asking for the codes.
Its obviously the rught way but we need the right code generator.
the lg u8110 codes arnt out till the end of the month so as soon as i can get em ill give em u all ok, i might be able to get em be 4 the end of the month if u have any questions plz email me on Supercross543@aol.com :)

Go on then how do you get the NCK, other than paying the provider vast sums of money..

its life thats all samsung are phlips and this LG is ericson and other lg are samsung who knows why and who cares :D

- the unlock code involves the last 4 digits of the IMEI (except from the checksum number, which is the last digit)
- the unlock code (and the lock code too) should be the same for every phone

I meant that the operator (3 UK) asked me £115 just to unlock my handset only by providing the unlock code based on my IMEI!!! Not for the whole set of codes!!! Which is why I am waiting for something free to come up....

I have just been told that it is the same cable pin outs as a LG 4010 on the usa networks. i have never heard of this phone, can anyone confirm this?
i have also been informed that a slight modifaction to a samsung cable can be used also.
In the UK the phones are supplied with a USB cable- would a serial cable be needed? or would anyone be able to try on a RedboX with the 4010 software?
just a thought.

U8110 and U8120 are RSA Protected so your hopes of a direct unlock solution are not hopeful at the moment and they probably have TP's disabled like K700i
the 4110 cable is the same as 7050
theres no NCK calc at all for the LG U8110/8120 and the dataone cant calc the codes for this phone either

I think that you may be a little too impatient- look at the panasonic X70- that has been out for 10 months now and there is still no direct method other than logs!

It says "insert USIM" and says "USIM locked" when I use SIM card..
does SIM work when the handset is unlocked...

i do not think that an concreate solution exists. If it did I am sure the producer would advertise it in the sales section.

ok can someone explain this to me, bought 2 lg phones in australia, they are not supposed to be locked one phone can send mms from other network and the other cant , other networks say it is locked but saleperson said it wasnt ?l have tried 2 different networks but cant send the mms ,of course l get the dud one and my son got the one that isnt locked????? :mad:

Other information in order to find the code of release of the U8110: 2945#*88110-OK-OK-yyyyxxxxOK The "y" they are the numbers of IMEI(3532500002yyyy8) Therefore we now know the first four numbers of the code.

Can you pm me the 4 digits also I have had a right run in with 3 I have finished my contracts with 3 but during that time I was so messed around i reported them to ofcom....Won the case and was awarded 2 lg8110 handsets, contract has ended and they still want £15 per handset which i do not have so if no solution in next couple of weeks just going to get unlock codes from 3 small price to pay £30 if there is no solution adnd people are charging up to £40 per handset to get unlocked.
i cannot post them, you see they are hidden with some stars...

A lesson in being a man. You had a problem with codes as others did
you no there was no way you could send them. Now a real man would say

then i get threats from customers .
I n the end i buy same codes in Holland .
I went on icq some weeks ago and you refused to give se codes because i had said bad things about you ! like you are the victim :D now thats funny

and yes, i still have plenty friends, plenty customers who decided in that hard time to trust me, and as they have been very nice with me, i offered them solutions for what they needed to revoder them money, it was not very comfortable for some of them, but they accepted, cause after all, i m source, and i sell only exclusive stuff, and there is always money to be done, now i still have one to sort out, i think it will be finished very soon with him, for the others who directly started to threaten me like you did with nonsence when i answered to your email saying that no more codes, no refund but you could receive logs for the same amount at any of my servers, and they were hot at that time, then you started insulting me, then i told you to fu.ck off, i also sent a few others to hell, they will for sure come and speak in this thread, nice to **** a thread again, but this is again due to your stupidity.
now, you can continue your one man show here, i wont answer anymore, and i disable the email notification, so i will even not see when you answer
