E700 LCD problem [Archive]

The LCD works fine but when you close the flip and open the flip the LCD turns white.

Anybody come accross this problem

YES, i have exactly same problem with a E700, I opened phone, cleaned with alcohol and finally put it together again, but 12 hours after same problem again.

Anybody have more experiences with this, its not possible for me to get another flat cable?

Hi Guys had one doing that try resolder the discrete components on the LCD ribbon cable and the connection to the main inside lcd\

you cant order flat cable from samsung :( only way is black market or to buy new lcd assy from samsung (about 130 euros)

yes its a flat cable that have problems and all samsung have these problems i have buy some in one company in china and they works fine

your phone flux is not properly connected.
dis mantle phone and check again.
