Cleaned the contacts, and the fault is still there. Never seen this fault before. Any ideas?

Me neither mate, but have you tried the 'remove internal battery' trick. You know, dismantle phone, remove tiny round internal battery for 3-4 hours, replace, reassemble etc etc. Works for the problem with the power button !
I think to be honest you may have a damaged track though :(

Cheers bungle. It is a weird one. I tried the battery trick, 'cos as you say clears some faults. The phone has come from an unlocker on the market who tried to change the outer casing. I guess i'll have to try and find a break in the keypad track. That'll learn him.

hi ı know the solve ı fixed many sharp phone it was gx10 and gx10i you just check the connector of the main board you will find solder the solder is might be short circurit you need the clear solders and you will see
