Men.....there is a chance to both software and hardware. i have solved this case using software soooooooo many times......understand....

It is better to use the software solution first with whatever software you are used to.
If it does not work, then hardware.
Sometime you may have to do software, hardware and then software
check your handset imei and change your imei

In 90% System failure cases htis is Eeprom problem .
clean ,rehot, program or change and program It with eeprom file and write the right IMEI .
That's ALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL.
