How to determine whether card is Comp128v1 or v2?
I'd really like to know what cards I have lying around here. Is there a way to figure this out? Maybe even with a sim card reader?

Thanks for any information!

Hi,

You only can determinate this with 100% if you search the Ki.

... by weight, size , color or "taste" you canīt determinate this 100%.

Regards,
Sir Graham.

Ok Sir Graham , but this puts your sim into danger :)
You might kill it on the searching procedure...
I ve already killed one orange nl and one vodafone irish sim....
Using Woron 1.05 and 1.06 scanner....
Frequency used: 3,57 Mhz...

Hi,

Only the COMP128 v1 with limit have this problem. The V2 havenīt got collisions and donīt need this protection. I think is rare this kind of cards.

I donīt see ANY COMP128 v1 with limit in SPAIN. Here there is COMP128 v1 or V2.

However the distribuitors change this cards free. They canīt determinated what is the problem. You can make the trys with any problem.

Sir Graham.

Those words of Sir Graham made me think that since my orange nl was dead during the cloning procedure, its must be v1 :)
I tried to clone my other voda nl, using sim scan 2.01..and guess what...
Succesful :)
Orange nl 2004--->success
Thanks SirGraham , you helped me in your way ;)
