where is any working patch for c60? example. debug patch? anyone knows the memory map? i tried discover the memory map from a full backup:

I don't have a x60 mobile (i just run into this thread)
Anyway in SL45 and i presume in all mobiles, java class verification is a process that actually verifies that the jar file contains a java midlet.

If the jar file is a jre (pc) application, then the java class verification will not launch the midlet.

Generally in Sl45 we disable java class verification, because it speeds up the loading proccess around 70%.
However some midlets will not start without it.
(This is because some java bytecodes must be changed by the javaclass verification routine before running)
(an example of such a midlet is jubble bobble - must be something like this for x6x)

just read out flash from your x65 with x65 flasher - http://www.siemensfreaks.com/en/php/flash.php
Then change what you need in some hex editor, save it, and then flash with it again with x65 flasher. Little bit more time, but still easy to use...

I wrote to C65.
You can't activate DevMenu by press #. You must apply patch (for S65) and set up DevMenu function to hotkey or in MyMenu as usually function.

Hmm.. translator is not good enough. I tried before, and because of not complete translated, it could make "missunderstand". especially if it talking about "how to"
sentences. ;)
I tried before, did patch 12.71 into my M65 with poor translated words Russian -> English and.. my phone dead! (maybe I missed something that I don't understand the meaning.) and fortunately I can recover it back live.

It is will be helpfull if the patch master include english as translation of their patch. Since, ppl around the world use it as reference to patch their phone.. ;)

Oke this is the translation:

1. Connect x65 via Cabel in COM1/COM2 (Phone ON)
2. Run ATEnabler v2.0
* If phone goes OFF, Turn it ON and do step 2 again.
3. Select which COM that cable attached, and klik "connect"
4. Klik "Enable & Check AT"
5. Please wait until message : "x65 Found!"
6. Klik "Exit"
7. Run updater tool x65 v25
8. When updater scanning port, probably the phone will not detected. (if phone OFF just continue the step) and updater will prompt to use manual setting.
9. Set manually the COM port where the cable attached.
* if phone OFF in step 8, turn ON the phone.
10. Continue step on screen, until the message : "Press ON/OFF..." and press the On/Off button in phone.
11. The Updater should be starting the update process in this moment..
12. Wait for 20-30 minutes.
13. finish..

V36 and V41 for X65 are BFb Blocked so you cannot generate a Boot Password with X65 Flasher and cannot patch bootcore with Chaos Midlet. :( The only solution is to flash with V25, patch bootcore and then upgrade to V36 or V41. ;)

The patch witch increases the size of disk up to 12,71MB. What does it really do? Does it take space from /System or /Cache? Or is the 2.5MB just unmounted by siemens?

i think so that you can update to FW41 and if it can't connect via V_KLay you can try as Pak_Tani suggested :)

DCA500 is serial/COM Original cable from Siemens, you can NOT use it to flashing or patching. Use only non-original cable or USB cable to work with V_Klay, freia, etc...

Been trying to use V_klay with no success with the following:-
Keep getting "A Hardware I/O Error was reported while accessing COM1 Loader:Open:No answer from ChaosBoot_Password.bin"

I did make sure that for password boot I had run the program to obtain the bootkey and written in the loader for V-klay, that ran fine.

I have also tried the chaos boot with the px65v3 midlet to.

Both of these routes have given me the above error.......... :confused:

My phone is the S65 with fw25 and using the DC500 cable connected to COM1, don't have any other comms errors when using the Mobile Phone Manager, etc.

Any help please or suggestions !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well I have done all of this several times but there is no additional port shown under the ports (COM & LPT).
The only additional port is shown under Modems - with a description of Siemens Mobile Phone USB Modem COM 5

I have deinstalled with the program in the ZIP file and tried again with no joy of additional port being shown.

Any clues Pak Tani ?

Well I have done all of this several times but there is no additional port shown under the ports (COM & LPT).
The only additional port is shown under Modems - with a description of Siemens Mobile Phone USB Modem COM 5

I have deinstalled with the program in the ZIP file and tried again with no joy of additional port being shown.

Any clues Pak Tani ?

Hmm, Try to connect PC to phone using SiMoCo or Vissie, at Port COM 3 until COM 9 (try 1 by 1).
and if I'm not wrong DCA-510 need USB v2.0 interface. What is u'r PC spec & Windows?

I think, the following patches are very usefull: :)


- Flash SMS directly from the phone
- Left characters countdown in SMS (not display 760 => 1/160 then 2/140, then 3/140)
- Get Adressbook without SIM-card
- Battery Status in % (real % into battery icon)
- Call lists via green button (Get calling list by pressing green button and switching e.g. with joystick between different lists)
- Get handsfree mode before doing a call
- No screensaver pop up if charging
- Don't ask yes/no for handsfree in dictaphone
- play tone if connected (dialled call)

Would be very nice, if you will create them

There is an existing patch to use the left softkey-button in new sms/mms/email not for t9-info but for t9-language selection.
As long as I use the small font to read incoming sms I have got to change to normal font each time I start writing a new sms.

It would be very very usefull to have the font-options on the left softkey button when writing a new sms.

Does any body know the right entry-point for the font-selection menu or can create such a patch?

I've S65 w/FW43 and DCA-500 non-original serial cable. With this cable, I can run MPM software, Original siemens flash update files, and Winswup software. But I couldn't run the V_Klay. It always gives messages like "connecting, press shortly power button" but noting happens..Does anybody know the solution for this problem? Thanks vey much.

BTW - 00 and FF doesn't work and make phone vibrating all the time!!!

Has anybody a idea???

Oh, I understand, you are right.
But I don't want to rebuild patch.
You can try to use Smelter to edit messages: "M"->" M", "T" -> " T"...
where M - first letter of Monday on Spanish, T- Tuesday etc.

Hi people, im curiousing..I have see that, when i apply various patch(basic patches..i dont know who is it), to cx65 v43 or v47, when i power on phone and start Camera, quickly appears something on top of screen like a tv without sintonized channel(without signal)..But, its very quickly, after this, its dont shows more..I can close camera and run it again, but nots appear this..But, if i turnoff the phone, and turnon again, when i run the camera for first, show its again..(Its only shows the first run of camera on turnon..)
Sorry for bad english...
Anyone knows about this?

my friend cant connect s65 FW50 via V_Klay 3.3 ,he used dca510 but when he activated password boot tool (that is external program of V_KLay) the program told message "phone not found and press any key" in final. What is wrong in this way?

I have M65 v50 with increased Disk-A 14.74 MB. When I want to apply this patch, V_Klay show warning crash addresses (I tried with M65 v50 standard 10.2 MB it work perfectly).

Could you help me to relocate the address to somewhere else so it will compatible with increased Disk-A 14.74 MB?
