8310 unlock problem with cheap flasher

Hi,

I have an 8310's v5.8 and a chinese dct-4 flasher. I'm using WinDCT4 V2 software.

I am trying to unlock the phone by doing a flash downgrade to 5.57 and then an unlock. The downgrade does ok, but when trying an unlock I get an error message: "error in sp command" .


Does anyone know what this error means? Should i be using different software? or is it a problem with the flash files. Or should I downgrade to a different version?

Also, does anyone know where I can buy a CD/DVD with the latest flash files and software?

I think you can't unlock the 8310 v.5.57 with Chinese DCT-4 flasher, because this phone has made new SP LOCK algo. You Should downgrade older soft ver, then 5.57 OR You should use the DCT4 Calculator.!!!!

You can't Unlock with Chinese DCT-4 flasher to:

6310 : v0501
6310i: v0510
6510 : v0412
8310 : v0557,0580
7210 : v0309

You Can unlock These phones with Chinese DCT-4 flasher only older SW version
