Hi,
I have a MC60, I patched the bootcore (px5amd) to let v-klay to connect and read/write the flash.
When I try to apply any patch or read the fullflash I see a lot of errors while reading, and it proceeds very slowly cause of the errors.
I succeded to apply some small patch, but if I try with a longer patch, the estimated time goes to 1-2 hours.
What can I do? The cable worked with M55 and I set "MC60 patched bootcore" in v-klay. I tried also with other options but nothing changed.
The cable works well with DES, without any issues....
Do you have any idea to help me?

please check batery it could be the problem

do you mean to check whether battery is low?
I've done this procedure:
1st - Patch the bootcore with p5xamd (It's seens you've already done this);
2nd - Write a C60 bootcore on your MC60 (Using freia, select the MC60 phone - Select "patched bootcore" on configuration - Select "bootcore" on write flash options). The C60 bootcore can be found here:

3rd - Unlock using freia option "diret unlock".

HI! Already tryied step 2, writing goodC60bootcore to MC60
but phone dead after this. What could I do? Don't write goodC60botcore
in an MC60,

I tried step 2 (I also dowloaded that bootcore) and nothing changed, altough I have the impression that the phone did not connect to the network, then I reflashed my original backup of bootcore, but it didn't connect anyway. But this morning the phone works. Perhaps I should have waited more time, but then battery was low, so I haven't tried anymore.
By the way, the problems with v-klay remain....

Use only freia to write bootcore, in my experience v_klay kills your phone!!!

I patched the bootcore with px5amd midlet, and also tried to patch bootcore with Freia, but It was already patched, so I didn't notice any change. I didn't use vklay to write bootcore.
I can apply patches with vklay, only I need a lot of patience (to use the patch to increase disc A it took 30-40 min - It corrected over 2600 errors).
I get a lot of reading errors but when vklay stops reading and prepares to write, it finishes quite shortly....

My mc60 in PX5AMD option 2, patched...wrong data @160, whats this?? vkay and freia9/10/15/18 no read boot "boot file is not acepeted"

hmm....I don't know, when you try to patch the bootcore, it doesn't work?
Try with this version of px5amd, I used that:

One person sent me a mc60 with same problem as you.... wrong data @160. I do not know what this is, but i tried to upgrade it from siemens pages, did not work. Then i cuttet the testpoint and unlocked it!
Have you tried to winswup it, and then patch the bootcore again? Do not know if this works.....
