Nokia N-Gage QD! - What Do You Think Of It?

Hey,
I wanna know what ppl think of the new Nokia N-Gage QD. i still prefer the features on the original N-Gage (e.g. MP3, Radio, Hotkeys, USB, Tri-band GPRS etc) towards the new stylish N-Gage QD (e.g. smaller, looks cool). So what do you think of it. The NEW N-Gage QD doesn'tt have MP3, or Radio init, but it does contain the N-Gage Areana Launcher (which will be released for the original N-Gage soon) a slim and **** look, half an hr extra battery time and a bright background , as well as the HOTSWAP for MMC Cards. so whats your vote, do you think the original is better or do you think the new QD is better. You Decide!!

BTW you can still talk normally on an N-Gage (without turning it sideways) and still her the person perfectly.

still N-GAGE classic is the best. will you play games always. its better hear music from mp3 or radio. play game get borred

I listen to MP3 and/or radio while i'm my way to college/work/coming home...and when i'm at college if i get bored i play on a game or listen to music, the N-Gage Classic is such a cool phone. I can normally fit about 20 MP3 Tracks (compressed from 128 - 40) and a game on a 32MB Card.

MP3 works also in QD you need only to install mp3 player..
QD is also smaller..
And no "phone calls" from side :) -i think phone calls look stupid in "classic" ngage..

MP3 Does work on a QD, but you need to download and install an MP3 Player on it, also some people have told me that they have done this but its **** cause the sound quality is reduce (stero/mono - i forgot which one - lol), also about holding the phone sideways - you don't have ot do that...just turn the voice volume up (while talking) and use the phone as usuall (classic talkin) and it still works. Thats what i do anyways.

Well I think i like better the classic ngage because of the following reasons:
1. you dont have to download the mp3 player and the radio, its all built in
2. bigger keypads better for bigger fingers
3. everyone looks at you when you talk to someone...whoever expects that you use the phone sideways?

i prefer the QD because:
- it has HOTSWAP. no need to turn off your phone when changing memory cards
- it has an OK buuton, which works like a charm, and
- it is smaller

but honestly, i think the original has more features.

Classic N Gage is much better than QD
mp3 with stereo (whereas QD's sound is such as b*******) , radio , tri-band , 5 ways button (QD's button make me feel uncomfortable when playing game)
Classic N Gage is bigger , but lighter
and the most important , Classic N Gage is cheaper (don't know why)

I prefer the classic N Gage, the QD looks nicer and smaller etc but why couldnt they have kept the same features as the classic, dosent bother me using phone sideways, and the menus look better on classic. Dont know why they had to move the buttons around either, I keep sending a text b4 I finished typing it because the clear button is no longer on the bottom left lol.

I'm planning to buy classic N-Gage.

I want to ask some questions:

Headset can be function like a microphone?
Perhaps it can disable the stupid talking positure.

The original games, which can be bought in stores are running when I simply copy it to the mmc? Original games are in MMC-s? They are symbian games? Can they be running in several other mobiles with symbian function or they are special applications only for N-gage?

I like Crash'n Burn. Can it be played with the arrows or just 2,4,6,8?

I will not exchange my classic N-gage to QD. for me its an overall entertainment gadget,
sideways talking does not bother me cause i use handsfree, hot swap card not really impress me, you just need a 256-512 mmc card for ur loaded app., games,mp3's etc..and the most thing i like is the sounds stereo of it.nothing beats the big sound.my friends always listen on it. For me Classic rules!!!

i use qd and still ok...the size is small..shape is cute..gegegeg..

and can swap memory card without opening the battery..

1 card for all games...
1 card for all mp3's
1 card for others..

still n-gage old is the best the new one doesnt have mp3 unlike the old one and the housing qd the rubber on the housing once it is loose it doenst back its almost the same with the new one qd you can plays dff. games

n-gage classic mp3 player can play out the sound of mp3 that is 32bit 44MHz Stereo
n-gage qd must install mp3player program to play quality of it is 8bit 22MHz Mono

for me classic n-gage is still the best allthough you cant change the mmc w/out shutting off the phone qd havent got radio also you can change your mmc on the highier mmc right? but 4 me it depends on the people who used i hope theres more phone like that to be make more power

I FEEL THE QD IS BETTER BCOS IT SI SMALLER AND LOOKS BETTER......BUT OFCOURSE CLASSIC HAS MORE FEATURES AND ALSO IS BIGGER AND LIGHTER.....ON THE OTHER HAND QD IS SMALLER BUT MORE HEAVY AND NO MP3 INBULT PLAYER BUT IT REALLY DOES NOT SOUND THAT BAD WHEN U PLAY IT...

qd is biggest **** : because i haved clasic and now i have qd . QD have not stereo,radio,usb cabel... I thinck N-Gage was best of smartphos. Sorry for my english...

Hi, this is the real abattoir, an ***- hole who claims to be a friend, came to my house and posted using my name. QD sux period. Just because he has a QD and everybody makes fun of him(he gave more money for it in the grey market than the street price of the original n-gage!!! lol )he used my name to post a reply. He is a good for nothing loser whose opinion must not be taken into account.
The phone does suit him though, because both are just wannabes.

P.S.:Mono music sux. That dud does not even know the difference between mono and stereo. He thinks ngage qd sounds better than the original ngage.
BTW he is a member of a groupie gang.

ngage 1 is better i think the hotswap facility on ngageqd is actually more of a piss take cause most people transfer stuff to their mmc and then you have to buy a mmccard reader and remove the card etc do long stuff instead on ngage you just put cable in so simple, and mp3 sucks on qd and i think the menu in general also looks ****ter comapred to first ngage. even thoguh 3rd party software is avaible it dont sound crisp cause its not hardware based.

That´s just somebody´s vision as to how an ngage should look like. It is not the next ngage unless nokia buys the design or draws inspiration from it(which is unlikely considering the amount of money they spend on design R&D!!)

Hi every 1 i think N-gage QD has good design then old N-gage classic and QD is small in size and it's easy 2 take the MMC card from slot without swithing off ur phone i know that its got some feed back's that it dosen't carry any of FM or MP3 Player builtin but u have the third party apps to make it "door step ahead " Who say every thing is perfect nothing could be perfect if u your self dont think that it's perfect " Everything has some or other feed back's" " I got N-gage QD and i think it's perfect for me if u have classic then u think that the classic is perfect for u. take care

i think qd is **** because the hot swap thing is more of nusience cause you goto take your card out and put in mmc slot then put back in ngage i find this unnoying on ngage you just jack the cable in werever you go, and yes i had both phones the music on qd gives you a fukin ear ake ngage sounds good cause its hardware mp3 player and ofcourse radio is good only good thing about qd u hold normal and it small big deal most people usengage for gaming only and not phoning

i think qd is much better than classic one.
it is smaller, easy to carry.
better battery backup it has
easy for a layman to understand as it has ok button
it can be secured with anti-virus like norton mobile security but classic's installer doesn't support
in old classic ngage, new person will confused which cable shouild be put in which socket?
qd can also play mp3s.
qd has better visulization than classic as it shows while playing 3d games

if the QD whoud had have mp3 player & radio appz preinstalled from factory it shoud have ben better than the ngage clasic..hot swap is cool,small size(but a lil bit heavy them its predecesor)...
so until ngage III apears clasic rulz..

Classic Ngage Rulezzz!!!!! I had both of them and came that time to decide which one I will sell and I chose QD cause is much worse than the classic one. When you install an mp3 player the sound is F***ed up. And playing games in my opinion is less comfortable on the QD. Also I can tell you that in half year (that long I had both classic & QD) the QD had much more system errors than the classic one... So CLASSIC NGAGE RULEZZZZZZZ!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
