How do I unlock a sony ericson T616

Hi............. i purchased a sony ericcson T616 from AT&T........... and now i am trying to unlock the phone but i have no idea what software to use or anything at all......i also wanted to upgrade the phone but i have no idea what to you......... now i am trying to use the phone in saudi Arabia and i think they run on 900/1800mhz............ please if anyone can help me ...........i would appreciate it.........

Since you are in saudia arabia the t616 will only work where an 1800mhz network is available, since it doesn't support 900mhz and absolutely cannot be flashed to support that band.
