...guy who is able and wants to help me! <img src="frown.gif" border="0"> <br />This is a story of a phone that i think only you pal can help me...<br />I know you have helped many,many people and you have the respect from everyone!<br />I had a phone 8210 for adding greek language to it.<br />The phone was from england,orange network.<br />The initial version was 5.28,I don't know the ppm pack.Flash ID was 008988C2.<br />I tried many times to read the flash but I didn't manage to do it because i didn't have the proper f-loader.(thanks to bhp&co from b-phreaks who has helped me so much).<br />So first mistake was doing things without a backup of the phone!! <img src="frown.gif" border="0"> ((<br />Then I did the second stupid thing and I unlocked it by partial flashing for 5.28.<br />Phone was working allright after that.<br />Then I wanted to add greek to it,but I only had the ppm pack for ver.5.27.<br />So I flashed it with mcu 5.27 from 200 to 340 and then flashed it with ppm pack from 340.<br />That was it!!On the screen came a gorgeous CONTACT SERVICE!!!<br />I flashed it with same,initial version (5.28) BUT NOT same ppm!! Still the same : C.S!!<br />I gave the phone (8210) to my friend in a nokia center to repair it but he can't!!<br />he updated the phone from original equipment,he tried many times but still contact service!!<br />it is totally dead!! <img src="frown.gif" border="0"> ((((<br />He told me that it propably has an eeprom failure and we can do nothing!!!But i didn't touch eeprom,i think!I flashed it from 200000 to 3D0000!<br />The phone has now version 5.21 (my friend tried to upload this version,because the phone didn't accept any other at all and the process stopped) and there is no C.S. ,but a full black screen,which is the same thing.<br />what shall I do now??<br />Do you think you can help me?<br />Many thanks in advance pal!!

well tell your friend in sc that he should unplug the mobile right after the arease message is shown with wintesla flash process. than the flash is real empty. after this he should flash it again with new version 5.27 or 5.29. this helps me many times. i dont know exactly what happens with this wintesla flash process but it is storing some parts of the damaged flash entry in the flashbox ram and store it back to mobile after flashing. hope this will help for your problem!!

PS: tell your friend in sc in 8210 is no eeprom <img src="wink.gif" border="0">

IT IS GREAT!!<br />WHAT A WONDERFUL TOOL FLASHER IS!!of course i have realised it a long time ago,but for one more time it is confirmed!<br />PHONE AFTER FLASHING FROM 200000 TO 600000 WITH A FILE TAKEN FROM A WORKING PHONE IS ALIVE AGAIN!!<br />contact service is gone!!<br />now it is time for the grrrreeeaaatt logger by b-phreaks to take some action!!<br /> <img src="biggrin.gif" border="0"> <img src="biggrin.gif" border="0"> <img src="wink.gif" border="0"> <img src="wink.gif" border="0">

the status of the pone now is this:the phone after flashing it from 200 to 600 with a file from another working phone,turns on and contact service has dissapeared.<br />But of course it doesn't find network!Do you have any idea?<br />Is there a possibility to fix the eeprom,which is definitely changed??<br />I have given it to my friend but he is still trying to see if he can fix it...<br />He told me that it doesn't take the update from wintesla,but he wants to try more for it...<br />He said that he will try to make an "open" upgrade.That means a step-by-step upgrade untill the point of "flash erased" of the procedure.<br />Please admin...give me your lights!!<br />many thanks and best regards!
