there is an arabic applaication but there is no arabic frimware
same app for S60 series
creat a new folder with the name Fonts in the system folder and copy Ceurope.gdr and paste it into it
c:/system/Fonts/Ceurope.gdr
just rename the attached file to Ceurope.zip

its an arabic font for sms only .. u may recieve arabic sms using this file

I stil DO NOT get Arabic letters as they should be.... only some letters are shown correct... not all them... i wonder why!

good work neo but i mean by no arabic untill now that is no full arabic for the phone

after complet instalation for the SIS file. i try to run it but i got the failure "FONT NOT FOUND!"
I copied the file Ceurope.gdr but the problem still there!
Any help plz??

the arabic sms application not rely on any font of other applications
so if you have any other arabic applications installed you must remove it then
its font ,then install the arabic sms and restart your sx1
run arabic sms and read write arabic sms
and wait for anew application to contacts

try to remove it and then restart sx1..
install it again and restart sx
run it may be it work..

Dear Abdo,
I had this 'ArabicSMS' sis file for some time now (I downloaded it from a yahoo group) but I'm getting the same problem as siemenslover, "error, font not found"
My varient is: international-uk-de-it svn 15
The 'Ceurope' font does read arabic messages except of few letters it can't translate & it doesn't give the phone the ability to WRITE arabic messages.
Let us know if anybody does find a solution for this problem or maybe a different sms sis file.

I got Abdo's file to work :D
SiemensLover, I think if you install the sis file on E: it will not work! So you need to install the sms sis file on C:\ . The sms sis file automatically creates a font folder under C:\system that includes two font files.
I erased the 'Ceurope' font since I don't need it anymore. (it was an ugly font anyway).

you should say that you installed it on e:
arabic sms must install c:
:) :)
wit for more application in sha2 *****

is it better or i will kill my SX1 one by this plan !
