it is a full flash(mcu+ppm) except that 5110 eeprom data is stored in a physical one (i.e 24c16) so whether you change flash, you still get the same IMEI. unlike in newer phones where eeprom is stored in flash memory, it is rather relatively safe to write full flashes since you cant "accidentally" write a different eeprom data since 5110's don't have eeprom data in flash.
Regarding your problem, do the following check. Since all locks are closed, we 1st should know if security data is still intact. To do so, type in the phone the ff. #pw+1234567890+1#. You should get a "Code Error" result before rebooting. <br />If you don't get a code error message then forget the whole thing, it means it has to be rebuilt (eeprom data). <br />If you did get the error message, then you still have a window of oppurtunity to get it fixed.
Here's how. <br />Solution A<br />Since v5.11 can be unlocked using data cable, no partial unlock flash was made for it. So the difficult part would be looking for one. <br />The next possible problem you would encounter then would be that your phone will reboot every 30 seconds or so. If in case it does reboot, you then have to upgrade the version of your phone to lets say, v5.30 for it to function normally.
Solution B<br />Since looking for partials for this version is rather tasking, i suggest you upgrade your phone first to v5.30 then unlock it using partial flashing.
