Help,i downloaded some programs on to my phone,nokia 6600.Some were great the others ,well not so good.
Please can anyone tell me how to format/clean the phone as if it came from the factory/shop.

u can use Twister, just click format user area....

i believe this might work (not 100% sure cause dont have nokia 6600)
u can go to tools, restore fact options.
press *#7370#
off fone, hold 3, * and call button and power on.

power on your phone with simcard & the battery must be full, press *#7370# yhen you will be ask for the phone lock code, if your phone lock is 12345 then the phone will be reset, all your save files will be deleted.

1. remove simcard.
2. press the green key, * and 3 simultanously then power your on phone.
3. dont remove your your fingers pressed to the green key. * and 3 till you see "formatting" text to your lcd.
4. wait for it to finish then place your simcard back.
your fone is now formatted.
I wouldn't recommend that to just anyone. I've seen people who had to throw away their phone after resetting their phone. I would take it to someone who knows what they are doing.

there is no way that u can wreck your phone if you do that unless u interrupt the format process (which you know you shouldnt be doing)

i'm realy serious..if you want to format your phone, just follow my procedure it works 10000%.put an accepted simcard then press *#7370# then it will ask your phonelock code if your code is default to 12345,after entering your code your phone will restart & begins format & it will rebot back to normal, but all your save files & apps will be erase...just make sure your battery is full...

this works on all Dct4 phones (3650, 7650 , 6600..) tried and works

this work only in wd2 phones like 7610,3660,3650,7650,6600. not dct4 models

green key 3 and *, what type of format does it do ?

note if the mmc card has a password even if its not locked at time of reset you need to check into getting its password or it will lock you out.
after format it will ask password, and as you have formatted it the mmcstore file that holds the password is GONE .... f*****d the mmc card as its now permently locked

Not is you have a NOKIA 9210i handset...as this is the only handset that I know that can format the card, even when you dont have the password.
A complete format ..
it resets unit back to factory condition.
remove every think???
i hope that it's mean the phone will be back to origin setting (as the first time that I used the phone) and not that the memory phone will be completely empty?!
