In latest SW releases you can't make the java access to low level ... Sorry!
Can we have a diagram on how to remove this T9 ball?

Anyone want to help us with the solution?

Are you sure, taht CF62 has old x60/x55 CPU and not new x65???

Well versions before 11 can be unlocked via java patch so I guess it is old x55/x60 CPU.
That is why I wonder if the Martech adaptors work for the new versions like 11 and 84. Has anyone tested?

So do the Martech adaptors work for new versions of CF62???

Yes, i remove t9 ball and unlock phone with Griffin CRD - 100% work perfectly. And now possible to read fullflash or boot area 2Mb or eeprom without problem and make CF62 repair kit :)
p.s.: cpu is old x60/x55 type
what is t9 ball??? how can i remove! anyone has a picture???

You can count from CPU dot mark A, B, C ... ect counterclockwise (exclude I and O letters, because in parts signing there is not used to not mismatch with digits 1 and 0) and 1, 2, 3 ... ect - clockwise from dot mark. Numbering must be looked from top view, not from BGA pins side.
Removing - easy - take out CPU, reball it, remove now ONLY T9 ball and put CPU back to PCB - he, he, heeeee - now you can play with your phone, without to think about boot protection.
hi,
That is quite complicated. can you attach a snapshot identifying T9 ball?

isn't possible cutting a track??? alot easier... ;)
It is possible! But you have to find the track first ;)

At least cutting tracks is more easy and fast, but you make damage on your (or yours customers) phone PCB - this will automaticaly bring some problems with phone hardware and also if something in future going wrong PCB shall cannot be changed in waranty conditions...

Is it advisable to buy the Martech II box? As it is not unlocking or bypassing the testpoint. Who has used it?

Where did you hear that? I have heard that it does work on v84...
Has anyone TESTED this?
has anybody tested to downgrade v84 to v7?
I think it is only a special (means brandings and some t-mobile stuff) firmware like M50 v81!
Try to downgrade with winswup!
So m8s after all no one found the way to unlock dis phone !!!!
hope some one can find a solution coz it really sucks :(
Best Regards

Hello!
Finally we want to tell you one more time:
Martech BOX II + testpoint adapters set
CAN UNLOCK all CF62, CF62T all newest versions (82,84 etc...)
100% and without any problems.
without cutting tracks (just connecting testpoint lines)
----------
if anybody can't do it using martech tp adapters - it means that he make mistake - or he has broken tp adapter - and should contact martech technical support.

Best Regards!

I need to visit that forum again... it has been a long time.
The reason I want to get Martech is for those phones and there does not seem to be anyone here who has tested them...
Except EndlessConnections, who says it does not work...
But Martech team says it does... ;)
You can read it only in intern forum. ;) So a visit won't help me!
But if Martech team says then it is working it is wokring! And if not they will make a new update! Always perfect support!

I tested this today.
Version 7.
It shows the message "Update not accepted by mobile"
Any ideas?

you can desolder CPU and reomve T9 track or you can take a look where the track goes along.
