I've just got a software call Unlock Codes Calculator v2.2 but I nee to fill up the MCC+MNC collum for me to calculate. Can someone pls tell me what is MCC+MNC?? :confused:

Give the phone maker and model, someone might be able to help.

i'm not really sure but mcc is mobile code country and mnc is mobile national code. that means network id something like xxx-xx example Binariang is 502-03;Celcom 502-19.

hi the MCC+MNC
is the NETwork code of the provider
for example
UK .....O2
UK = 234 = MCC
O2 = 10 = MNC

you dont have to fill in these manualy
you can use the list that is provided
just clic the combo boxes below IMEI and choose the country
and Network provider
and MCC + MNC will be fill aútomticly

Thanks for all the useful tips... I actually have problem with my mum's Nokia 8310 wereby she can't recall her security code, now she is not able to use her phone. The MCC+MNC is solve but I'm stuck with the other 2 combo boxes below the MCC+MNC. It shows asic 2-7, which shall I pick? and the one below it shows GTCL-001, V1, V2 and so on...., which shall I pick?? Pls help....

i see you have a security code problem
unlocking wont solve that
usualy the code is 12345 or 00000
if they were not changed
if so then you will need a cable to reset the code ...this will be the only way

oh by the way
Nokia 8310 data is
DCT4
Asic type 2
and code type V2
