02 Is notorious for RUBBISH signal and "limited service" error.
I have seen this with a LOT of 02 Samsung phones.
Open and closing flip sometimes fixes fault or needs a stronger signal.

u can do a full eeprom reset

it worked for my phone when it went onto limited service

just type *2767*3855#

if that does not work , take it back where u bought it from

phone is probably barred....even if it's brand new.....how was it paid for ? ...dodgy credit card/bumped contract ?

never believe the customer and if in doubt ...change the imei.

that code will change the imei,is there any other solution?why change the imei and cause trouble when a phone is not blacklisted. :)

1 . as you that sure it is not nicked why not call the service provider and ask them why it is doing that ? you dont have to tell them u unlocked it ?
and if it is as you said not blacklisted dos it work with it original sim ? coz if it is the other sim u using then may be blocked

they block the imei only if it is lost stolen or not paid for in any other way that only when you get limited service not in any other way unless the sim provider don't cover where you are and that veray unlikely coz you must have tried to go where signal are strong

if i am you I do this if imei is 1234567 00 1234567 I make it 1234567 00 1234561 and it should be ok u got one no out
typing erra ;)
