USB To DB9 Serial Adapter??

Hi,
Would like to ask plz if u can u use this adapter: USB To DB9 Serial Adapter Cable for PDA/RS232 etc, to enable the normal USB sharp cable to act as the serial one does [rs232] also??

They are selling these at ebay & wondered if they worked & if it was possible that the usb cable could then be transformed to act as the rs232 as it would then be able to unlock or upgrade the gx30 also without having to have several cables.

Would be gr8ful for any help plz.

No point mate, there is no free software to unlock your GX30. There is also no GX30 flasher currently available free either.

i would of thought that they would of had some stuff out for the gx30 by now somewhere on the web, though saying that i've not found anything useful as yet.

There is plenty of GX30 unlocking stuff around, but nothing for free ;)

but the guestion was if it will work because i need to know aswell
i both the license gx15 gx30 but there is only a usb cable and that doesnt work with gx30 so what we want to know is the connector working from usb to serial (com)

The most oft them are false.
This USB/Serial adapter provides a serial connection at one end a USB connection at the other. Now you can plug almost any serial device, (including GPS units or others) in to your USB based PC or laptop.
