Hello Sirs..
I canīt connect S40 with S40 WorkShop, the only program that connects with the cable i got (unlocking commercial cable) is a small 17KB tool called "S40_TOOL".. wich works OK (the download attached .txt file is from gsm-support.com).
I followed all the indications i found to connect with workshop (open the soft, connect mobile w/o batt, press connect, then place the batt) and nothing happens! i messed with the Boot Speed and RX Delay, several different settings..nothing, i also tweaked the hardware profile (in the PC) and changed the baudrate from 9.600 to 19.200 and nothing..
I also tried to read the phone (E2P, Flash, Etc.) with FREIA 10 and nothing happens!
I have a few S40īs with IMEI in "000000" and i need to test them with The GUAR Workshop, i have resetted them, flashed with the abovementioned tool, and nothing!
The WorkShop Version says "ahead gsm V10 by spunlock"..
I havenīt tried yet with UNISiemens because i donīt have it..
Everything is running on 98SE
I really appreciate your help, thereīs almost no GSM knowledge here in my country..and i got a few pieces with the "000" IMEI problem.
I know that those phones are almost obsolete for the first world, but here in third world they are almost new for us..and i am just learning to "tweak" this phones...I did my homework, i have spent all day readind about S40, but i havenīt found the answers i need...
