For unlock Samsung E316 try this metod:

Download E310 winimei from HERE (http://81.196.32.51:8080)
Power on the phone & quicky insert cable in phone & press "RD IMEI settings" on winimei sw (software must read settings when phone its in startup process)
Phone will hang----dont wory about that
Press "unlock" button
remove batery from phone & puth it back.

I have tried with V200 cable (oem) but am having no luck.
I am pressing the "RD IMEI settings" during power up but the phone never gets to the point where it hangs, it just continues to boot like normal to
main screen. I have tried with sim and with out sim. Thanks for taking

I have done the same with OEM v200 and t100 cables... phone has no reaction.

Software is not connecting to the phone... maybe this phone is somehow different??

I think it is a different type of phone than any of those we are trying.

Maybe it is a new one altogether, or more likely it is just not like the e310..

Elco, if it helps, the phone shows charging when connected via T100 OEM cable, and beeps when the V200 cable is connected. Please let us know when the new WinIMEI might be out!

Maybe someone should open this phone and look at the chip to see what type it is....

Look for a chip that says AGERE or SYSOL....

Then we will know if we need an E700 cable instead of the ones we have been trying.

If i try to change the lock in 001-01 or any ather value,phone lock back afet 3 restart's.If i try to change the lock & remake checksum,phone enter in "phone locked return to service"

Z105/E310 WinIMEI not working. V200 WinIMEI not working. UST not working. GDGSM e310 program not working. Tried T100 cable and V200 cable.

I agree it should be a pay for product to discourage weekend unlockers.
The only thing i'm not crazy about is paying such a high price for a single
model in comparison to other unlockers. I do feel cracker_jack and
Elco should be compensated but at the same time it just sounds
a little steep in price and support for 3 months? What happens after the
three months do we pay for support/update? I'm not downing this idea
I just don't think it's woth it unless you are doing major unlocking.
For me maybe that model may come my way for unlocking once a week.
I'm not a sunday unlocker as I do own many LICENSE unlocking programs
but I guess I just did'nt expect it to be this much. Either way I think
Elco & cracker_jack have the right to do what ever they feel is right.

I know about the e315,e316,e317 but usually it's seen as one model with
minor variants customized for other carriers. And about x426 x427 yeah I unlock many BUT... I use the same unlocker for many other Samsung models which is my point. I paid $600 for MSS and it was worth it so money is no
problem. I paid $400 for Sonyericsson etc..etc... Maybe I just did'nt expect
the price to be so high.

It's true Thomas, I paid for the phone and shipping was $100.00USD on top of the cost of the phone, so yeah, I just want my money back plus a little extra since yes I did send it. It might be a tad expensive but the FULL version does more that the e316, e316, e317......Elco has added new models so it mght be a good investment in the long run.

Besides, most are right about it better being a paid soft....if it's free you'll see your neighbor unlocking for 5 bux....not good for us guys. If you think 150 is too much then sorry to say but your an unlocking hobbiest/enthusiast and should just wait for cracks and free soft but us serious unlockers will have made our 150 plus much more by the time the cracked soft is out, your call.

hey whats up everybody, im new here as you can tell and i just wanted to touch bases with every1....

...with that said, I ran into this board by mistake while looking for a way to unlock my e316 since i have t-mobile but its locked under at&t. i was really happy to see Elco be able to crack the extra security and i think he deserves all the praise hes been getting and then some. i agree that its not fair for people to just rip off his software and make money off of it but at the same time i dont think its cool for people like myself who are just wanting to get their ONE phone unlocked. i guess this message is for elco and his circle of ppl (sorry if i dont remember u guys' names). what do you think of the idea of ppl like me submitting the information you need (imei, provider etc.) to provide unlock codes for free , that way you dont have shady people ripping off your hardwork and at the same time you provide the rest of the community free ulocked phones just like all your other programs do. im not asking for the software and i think you got every right to charge people intending to profit off of it but can you guys at least unlock the one phone us few honest have. thank you regardless of what you make of my idea.

im a newbie when it comes to unlocking phones, :confused: i just unlocked my friends nokia about 2 days ago with some software i thught was winiemei but i just checked and it was actually called "Cyber". anyway i think you get what im trying to say... it doesnt make sense to charge 170+ dollars to unlock your ONE 200-300 dollar phone. maybe elco should release a version that will only unlock a limited amount of phones and charge accordingly depending on how many phones the software can unlock or just charge a low fee to unlock someones phone without having to charge that crazy amount of money for da whole agere attack program.

This software is not supposed to be used by someone unlocking only one or two phones! It is for people who unlock enough phones that $170 is very reasonable ;)

Tried to update to 1.5 today and it is not working. I ran the update, clicked the icon and got "Insufficient Memory." I then tried to fully remove the program and install and got the same message. I removed it and installed 1.0 and it is working fine now.

I am using Win2k.

Any suggestions?

who are you?what are you talking about?may be you wrong with other people .I never sell Agere software to any body.Until now i alreadly have problem with 2 my computers use win 2k service pack 4 for run Agere software.If you say that please post full email of sender and receiver.Why my hardware finger is changing (win xp sp2)?when i update v 1.5 software it said like not enough memory( "Insufficient memory").Then i have updated computer memory from 768 to 1 gb.(i didn't know change memory will change hardware finger) after that ,i have to return memory to original and fix this problem.
How do you FELL if i say you are getting a new hardware finger and selling Agere software to other people?i don't have time to do that.if you see you post wrong please say sorry boy
