I have never unlocked a siemens phone, only Nokia and Sonyericsson but now one of my best friends wants to unlock his phone and i wonder:
Can i use freia with orginal datacable? or do i need griffin or twister?
Please help.

I bought a serial cable from E-bay, downloaded Freia, and it worked just fine after I worked out a few things using trial and error, and questions to other site members.
My problem was configuring the software, I set it to RTS only, and Process information High and it worked perfectly.
Well, it depends what siemens you want to unlock! Freia will unlock most siemens around...

Original cables made by siemens are not working!
You need a cable made and china and all is fine ;)
