ther is one more solution but with java aplet, this is patching bootcore. finde midlet px5amd and search on the forum about this theme.
this solution doesnt for all fw. M55 fw11 and <, c60 fw23 and <

-test point is cheaper and faster
-java aplet is seafly and you need more time
-but martech is best

Martech can't unlock without testpoint! You ever need testpoint!

But if you have a Martech II and testpoint adapters you only need to connect 2 needles to PCB! ;)

(It's like testpoint emulation! :))

Siemens will not see it and you won't loose warranty! That is the best solution! :)

Hello!
Many people used to name "testpoints" - everything what is connected with T9 ball of older PMB main CPU of siemens x5x x60.
this pin during reset of CPU shows what memory will be choosen for getting code for CPU.
if this pin is on low state -> GND (0), CPU starts from main boot ROM,
if state on pin is HIGH (1) - CPU reads code from external memory (flash in this case in phone).
Inside flash there is start code - named "BootCore" (which allows to run registered bootloaders only - and allow crypted flashing with special siemens files).
If somebody want to run own code (we want -> to do something with phone) - we have to put this pin to low state (GND) because internal boot ROM doesn't have this limitation, and our bootloaders can be run without problems.
It's the reason why ppl connect T9 pin to GND (in older phones), and cut tracks (to make low state on this pin).
-----------------------
Currently for new x55, x60 phones there are only one method for T9 pin -> cutting tracks. It's not good method, because it's very easy to damage phone.
-----------------------
MARTECH Team made alternative method named:
Martech BOX II + testpoint adapters.
and alternative meanings of "testpoint" word.

This method allows to access phone using easy - real "testpoint" - so only connecting special connectors to points on PCB.
This method doesn't need any cuts!
just connect easy points and access phone.

If you disassemble the phone - you already lost warranty.

Yes friend, but Martech talk here about cut hardware, or with martech 2+ special adaptor`s no need to make this.
