E800 Imei RE-WRITING

Can anyone help me change the IMEI code on a Samsung E800. The forum says numerous times it can be done with the following,
I have a cracked running version of UST pro 6.
I have a Samsung E700 data cable(model PCB 093LBE) cable.

How do you connect to the phone as I cannot get it recognized?
What is the procedure for writing a new IMEI code.?
How do you enter TAT mode and is that necessary?
Do you need a sim card inserted?
Can it be done with a USB cable, if so what port in UST??

U can try selecting e700 or X600 Its the same type of phone connect cable then click IMEI change then connect battery

Tried that on both X600 & E700 but no luck. It seems to make a beep noise then says battery charging but when the progress bar on UST reaches 100% it says phone not detected??

Hi to change imei on e800 you must do following

1.use E700 CABLE
2.Use Samsung tools by nasiriyan and first enter TAT mode , make sure cable is in phone and still say TAT.
3.close program and then open again and enter new imei then write
tested and working 100% on many e800 :)

Still having probs.
Connected the phone to com 1.
Got into TAT mode and shut down the program.
Re-started the program.
Made up a new IMEI number..... but came up with this reply "12 Section Not Exist"

Do you have to get some sort of IMEI number generator???
Do you need a sim card in the phone?????
Does the phone show any indication on the screen anything is happening, all it does is make a beep-beep noise?????

Get yourself UFS-3 or Twister supports E800 IMEI rebuild

You don't need an IMEI generator
You don't need sim in phone
The phone would just show TAT mode is the cable ur original and does it work changing IMEI maybe the cable is not right

you dont need need to do anything just enter any new imei
and just write imei .
i can not understand why its making a beep sound, make sure you battery is fully charged.

Dear All


This is doing my bulb in now!!!!!!!!
I am running windows 98 but the phone still says "12 Section Not Exist !"
I have tried this 20 times now with different numbers and still no luck.
Sorry for sounding stupid but can you give me a detailed list of the procedure to follow.
I have downloaded the Samsung_Tools_X100_E710_S500.exe from the Nasiriyan website, is this the right one??

Still having problems guys
I have now tried two E700 cables and all different permutations of battery off, then start program, enter tat, shut down program, re-start program, change IMEI but still comes up with a message "12 section not exist!!"

Finally done it.
I found out the cable I was using was the wrong type. Bought a new one for a E700 with serial plug off Ebay, (£4.99) and used a cracked version of UST6 job done.
