It is not working for me too, just downloaded it and unpacked using the latest WinRAR 3.4 but the same, though there are some files which are extracted intact and no need for them to download again, please upload once again just the file GX 20 repair tool.exe.

ombossman. thank you so very much for your prompt response. but i hate to be a pain in the rear but i can't get the software to work on my gx20. i may have gone wrong somewhere

1 i used my data lead
2 when i tried to use the software it started off looking really well

then i got :-
Please remove ac charger when you use pc cable, press power button!

then after around 20 secs i got unable to recieve sync byte.

is my phone completely dead. have i got to go and bury the flaming thing ;)
or have i gone wrong somewhere. do i have to use the communication box bit and change the stuff underneath.

heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeelp i think i've gone nuts with the suspense of trying to get this phone to work.
