steps for 511 dead?

First :
Read full flash keep It a way
read laguage pack file and save It too
Read epro TEH zone keep It way

download a good flash with a same version ! flash the phone and rewrite the teh zone (the file that you have read before flashing ! tha's all !!!

If your problem is soft the phone will be OK 100%
if the phone still dead ! the problem is hardware so you will reflash you phone with the original flash file (that you have read in the first time)

Do you mean i not only have to match phone type but also the exact version?
like 311 then specific version or just any BF3 311 firmware will do?

Actually, there are number of firmwares available for each model like BF3. how should i know which one to flash my phone with?

the best and sure solution is flashing with same version !

i tried with flashing with the same versiuon flash but now there is a tick sound heard sometime when i try to power on the set..

now can it be repaired?
