Can't unlock G4010 Rogers (Canada). On the software, it shows Unlocked but when I insert the SIM Card, it says telephone restricted.

I tried to flash the flash file that is on the website and it unlocked to phone. The phone becomes Cingular now.

I flash the phone back to Rogers by using the READ File that I make earlier. Now the phone is locked again.

Can't send the email to support@blazer-team.com since the file is to big for my email account. Please let me know if there is any other way to send the files.

I had the same problem.......and I already sent the flash to the support....

I guess we'll have to unlock it the by flashing it first.... :mad:

Someone else did also. The next update should include this Rogers 4010. In the meantime, you can also flash with the 4011 files and it will say AT&T, which is at least a little closer to Rogers than Cingular :)

Okay, so I guess North America Unlocker will have to keep sending the files to Blazer team when there is a new phone out.

It is not a problem for sending file to Blazer team at all.

Blazer users all over the world have to send files- that is how they update the software. It is much better than sending a whole phone!!

Also, they have been very good to us with updates when we send- when they got started they thought all they had to worry about with USA was 4010/4011/4050 but now we have 4015/4020/L1150/C1300 and more and they have been by us all along!

I know they update fast so I am happy and confident sending files :D

I am totally agree that Blazer team has GOOD SUPPORT that's why I said I don't might sending the file to them at all. It is not a hassle for sending the file to have them update the software.

All flashes are received and upload to server to be added on soft.
But after you unlock 1 phone and soft tell you is unlocked and phone is still loked do ne forget to 2945#*# and factory reset. ALL WILL BE OK AFTER !!!

I just try unlocked and 2945#*# and factory reset but it still locked.

My guess is that the firmware version displayed when you connect the phone is random characters (smilies, etc??)

We had a version like this with AT&T. It could be unlocked by downgrading, but without downgrade, it said unlocked and remained locked.

My guess is that LG moved the security area on the phone and the software modifed the wrong part of the firmware.

Unless you want to change the customization to AT&T USA or Cingular, you need to wait for the next release with your sent firmware.

No, it is not from me. I have a difficultly with my other computer so I didn't send the files yet.

I had a Rogers Canada 4010 today.

Phone connects but reads version and model number as garbage symbols. Reads the network as 3027-2 instead of Rogers. Software reports unlocked but phone remains unlocked.

I flashed it with AT&T 4011 flash1 and unlocked 100%.

I also read the flashes and uploaded them to support so they should be in the next update!!

I just upload the Rogers LG 4010 files (G4010_010222005158728.BX1 and G4010_010222005158728.BX2) to website. Hope it will be on next update. Thank you very much for your time and good support.

I am sure there is only one version that we are all having problems with and once they have one copy they will be able to update for all the phones.

If the problem persists after the update, then we need to read and send again.

Calm down, guys. The team is very good and I am sure they will release an update for this model very soon.

Hahaha, it is just a joke. I know Blazer team is working very hard to make their customers happy. So far VERY GOOD support from Blazer team. PLEASE keep up the GOOD WORK.
