A800 problems

lo guys & gells im new t this forum so hello from Mansfield. ok ive just got a second hand A800 when switched on it says no sim card, ok i put a sim card in and power back up but this time i get nothin on the inside screen a witch on the outside screen but still get all the startup sound & as soon as i take the sim out i get the startup music and on both screens it says no sim card?
can any 1 explain this please?

you will find solution

you need to flash eeprom with ust, and flash phone, but first
make phone eeprom resest witout simcard

if this doesn't work you'll need to falsh phone

ok thx m8 ive just tried putting the code in and as soon as i press any key the phone light goes off and it says please wait and then goes back t the no sim card bit. so it must need what u called flashing.
can it be flashed at a phone shop or is it a do it yourself thing?
