3330 still Contact Service after CHECKSUM calc using VIBER,help

Hi All<br />I got 3330 with contact service, I take a full flash and recalculated the EEPROM2 checksm with nFree, flashed it back to the phone , but still contact service, can anyone help

Hello MySweetyLove.<br />I thing you are in good troubles!<br />Last Nfree is calculating only PPM and MCU chksum, Nfree is calculating EEprom Chksum only for 6210. You can see the details in Author about place.<br />If you put all the flash with eeprom from onother phone, you surlly changed the IMEI too.In this case you have one phone never revival again. <img src="frown.gif" border="0"> <br />In case you only recalculated original eeprom you must ask Dejan help. Last days Dejan offer eeprom recalculation by log, of cource by pay him.<br />Search for string "Dejan" in flasher topic and you will find that you want.<br />Good luck<br />Robby

Thanx for reply<br />I used nfree ALABASTER 3 in the calculation .I tried another full flash from another phone 200000-600000 but still contact service

but I still have the original full flash with calculated checksum(nFREE)<br />So, what else to do.

if u try testing it with nokitools and the imei and sp lock are still ok.. it's worth a try to repair.. send me and maybe i can help.. but test it first with nokia tools... ok

Hi,

Nobody born to know how to service on the Nokia phone. <img src="biggrin.gif" border="0"> . You can try to rebond the Cobba first. Sometimes it works. But remember to flash back to backup first. Even the eeprom area sometimes stated calculation wrong in the Nfree, but the phone will still works too. All you need to do is to repair the MCU and PPM again.

Gsnbhagawan is right - this is hardware problem.<br />Try to rehot COBBA, but be careful - in many NOKIA phones most chips are in glue and zealous ovrheating can damage your mobile!

Hi<br />I just put the Backup back again,So I think there is no other problem with the software,just the checksum in the EEPROM2,I think there will be no problem since it is the Original Phone backup! Correct me if I am wrong

Hi,

If it is not the cobba IC fault, Then check all the IC and see any of the IC is out of place.<br />It maybe causes by stock circult by other IC.

I have quite a similar problem.

I have here 3330 which resets to contact service after turned on.

Read full backup with Rolis 4.71 and then recalculated checksum. Copied the binary buffer to ppm and flash back MCU+PPM only of the same flash extracted. After operation, contact service was gone but after a few seconds, phone resets.

Any ideas here please? I think phone needs the MCU+PPM overwritten with Dejan box 1.02 so that FAID will be calculated to repair the resetting problem.
