View Full Version : Moto A835 am I missing something?
I'm trying to sort out a keypad problem on a motorola A835 but I cant figure out how to open the case. Ive removed the 4 torx screws on the lower half 4 corners but it wont budge. Is thee another hidden screw somewhere or am I missing something. Help or advice would be greatly appreciated.
hi. it was my problem, too. but i have solved although it seems to be hopeless...
the main problem in opening the case refers to its division into frail main parts. i think that a photo of unfolded phone will lead you to successful dissolution (i can send vai mail during tomorrow if u want).
dissolution of grey case:there are three main click-triggers situated nearby irda and both buttons (+/- volume, camera). you have to plug in a very thin instrument (i have used scaplel for it) and lever up. at this place you have dissolved first part.
black deck dissolution: there are four main rectangular clips, that can be pressed by casual screwdriver. the motion for that operation is "out of phone".
so thats all. beneath the case you'll be able to find next 4-6 torx screws and other modules such as camera etc. beware of right replacing of components.
